What happened to Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt in ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ 2021?

When Joe returned for Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, he wasn’t sure if he should stay. In fact, he tried leaving multiple times. Previously, Joe met and fell in love with his ex-girlfriend, Kendall Long, on the beach. But luckily, Serena changed Joe’s world.

Throughout the new season of Bachelor in Paradise, Joe and Serena remained open to each other. Then viewers watched as they fell in love. That said, there was a bit of an obstacle to overcome. Midway through the season, Kendall returned to the beach, and it seemed like she wanted to get back together with Joe. But in the end, Kendall left the show single. 

Now, it’s possible Serena and Joe are ready to take their relationship to the next level in the Bachelor in Paradise finale. But are they actually ready to get engaged and start a new life together? We’ll have to wait and see.

‘Bachelor in Paradise’ 2021 spoilers hint whether Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile are still together and engaged now

While Joe and Serena seem to be headed toward an engagement in the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale, multiple teasers have indicated that Kendall comes back for a second time. So is this the end for Serena and Joe? Not necessarily. 

Back in June, Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve shared Bachelor in Paradise spoilers indicating that Joe and Serena get to have their proposal. According to the spoiler king, the two reality stars are engaged. Then ahead of the finale on Oct. 5, Reality Steve updated his spoilers, claiming Serena and Joe are still together and engaged now.

Serena Pitt reveals her future living plans with Joe Amabile after ‘BIP’

During Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Serena and Joe hinted that they talked about their post-BIP plans on the show. If you don’t remember, Serena lives in Canada. Meanwhile, Joe is from Chicago. But it seems the two reality stars already figured out their future living situation on the beach. So it’s possible Joe and Serena don’t have much to worry about if they actually get engaged in the finale.

“My conversation with Joe on the beach was… I don’t really want to leave the east coast if I don’t have to because I would like to maintain that close proximity to my family where it’s still a short plane ride away to be with them,” Serena said on Talking It Out. “But I’m willing to do what’s best for the relationship. So if that means a work opportunity in Chicago, and it’s best for you, it’s best for us. But if I’m really struggling, and I need to go back to Toronto for a year, then you’re willing to pick up and make that move.”

Clearly, Serena and Joe have thought about their future together beyond Bachelor in Paradise. So we’re hoping the BIP spoilers are correct and they’re still engaged. Stay tuned for updates.

Update: Joe and Serena got engaged in the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale. The ABC reality series also updated fans on their relationship status because there was no reunion show. Serena and Joe are still together now.
