Many of the women this season will be familiar to fans who watched Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor. Genevieve Parisi, Sierra Jackson, Kira Mengistu, Hunter Haag, Teddi Wright, Hailey Malles, Serene Russell, Jill Chin, and Shanae Ankney joined the cast.
Additional female contestants include Brittany Galvin from Matt James’ season, Victoria Fuller from Peter Weber’s season, and Lace Morris from Ben Higgins’ season.
So, who are the men this season? Spoilers note many of them come from Katie Thurston and Michelle Young’s seasons. Fans will see Andrew Spencer, Michael Allio, and Justin Glaze hit the beach. They’ll also see Casey Woods, Brandon Jones, and Romeo Alexander. A few contestants from Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia’s season will also be there. They reportedly include Jacob Rapini, Johnny DePhillipo, and Logan Palmer.

Brandon reportedly gives his rose to Serene, Justin gives his to Genevieve, and Romeo gives his to Jill. Additionally, Andrew and Teddi hit it off early, and he gives her his rose. Michael and Sierra pair up, as do Jacob and Lace, Johnny and Victoria, and Casey and Brittany.
Shanae, a controversial figure in Bachelor Nation history, reportedly connects with newcomer Logan Palmer. We’ll be interested to see if Shanae continues with her old ways through Paradise. Perhaps she grew after Clayton’s season and truly hopes to establish a connection.
Who gets eliminated after the first rose ceremony? Hailey Malles, Hunter Haag, and Kira Mengistu reportedly go home — but that’s not the end of the road for Kira. Rumors suggest she returns and leaves with Romeo. This makes it unclear regarding the connection between Romeo and Jill and what happens to Jill moving forward.
Several contestants reportedly self-eliminate
Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 spoilers wouldn’t be complete without plenty of drama surrounding the first rose ceremony. Reality Steve notes a few contestants self-eliminate during the first week.
The spoiler guru notes Teddi and Andrew’s connection wasn’t as strong as Andrew hoped. Thus, Teddi self-eliminates. Following this, Michael and Sierra also didn’t have a lifelong romantic connection, and Micheal reportedly breaks up with Sierra. The spoilers note Sierra then self-eliminates.
As Paradise continues on, Salley Carson from Clayton’s season reportedly arrives, but she quickly self-eliminates. The circumstances regarding her elimination are not entirely clear just yet, but it sounds like she had issues with production.
