Bachelor in Paradise has been raising the stakes on the drama each week. From week to week, the strongest couples seem to be falling apart and new couples are forming. At the end of last week’s episodes, Kendall Long came onto the beach to surprise her ex-boyfriend, Joe Amabile. The final scene left fans on the edge of their seats. Will they have to wait a little longer to see how things play out or will Bachelor in Paradise air on Labor Day?

Does ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ air on Labor Day?

Though Bachelor in Paradise has become a Monday night institution, there are a few things that can throw off the schedule. Labor Day is Sep. 6. Some shows go on a hiatus and skip a week due to the holiday, but Bachelor in Paradise doesn’t seem to be doing that. Episode 6 is scheduled to air as normal. In fact, historically, Bachelor in Paradise has aired on Labor Day. Before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic hiatus, BIP aired on Labor Day in 2019. In 2018, the show broadcasted for a whopping three hours. So, it’s pretty safe to say that we will still be seeing tears on the beach on Monday.

Are there any interruptions in the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ schedule after Labor Day?

Though Bachelor in Paradise will air on Labor Day, there are some things that will throw the show’s schedule off this season. On Sep. 13, Monday Night Football will air which will bump BIP. Then, the next week, ABC’s beloved Dancing With the Stars will premiere season 30, meaning that Bachelor in Paradise will begin only airing on Tuesdays starting Sep. 7.

This week’s drama

Thank goodness Bachelor in Paradise is airing this week because the drama has been heating up. Last week, Becca Kufrin came onto the beach, as did Tia Booth. Becca didn’t quite shake things up as she opted to give her rose to Aaron Clancy, who Tammy Ly had already dumped. Tia, however, chose to go out with Kenny Braasch, who was already juggling Mari Pepin and Demi Burnett. This angered Demi to no end, even though she seemed sure that Kenny and Tia wouldn’t connect.

Unfortunately for Demi, Tia and Kenny seemed to get along great and even ended their date with a few kisses. Next week, Kenny and Tia will undoubtedly have to deal with the fallout of going on a date and leaving Demi waiting at home. In the preview for this week’s episode, Mari also throws her hat back in the ring for Kenny and tells him that she still has feelings for him.

But the drama that everyone is really looking forward to is how Joe will react to Kendall showing up on the beach. Joe and Kendall met on Bachelor in Paradise and ended up dating for almost two years. Their relationship came to an end because Kendall didn’t want to move to Chicago. Though the two parted ways, Kendall says that they were still in love when they broke up. So, Joe getting close to Serena Pitt is probably not what Kendall wants to see the moment she walks onto the beach.
