Before Ivan joined the cast of Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, he was on Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette. The 29-year-old aeronautical engineer quickly became a fan-favorite, and he made it through to the final three. But in the end, Ivan was sent home.

Now, Ivan has been searching for love on Bachelor in Paradise. At first, things didn’t work out with two of his potential suitors, Jessenia Cruz and Kendall Long. Then he pursued Chelsea Vaughn, who previously connected with Aaron Clancy. So Ivan and Aaron got into an argument. But it seems Ivan will get into some more trouble in episode 10.

In a preview for Bachelor in Paradise on Sept. 28, Ivan spoke with Wells about something that happened at the hotel during the tropical storm. Ivan also admitted that he went “around the system,” and he did some “crazy things” because of love.

Wells Adams hints what happened to Ivan Hall on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 7

Before the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 premiere, Wells teased something big that’s never happened before on the show. Now, the guest host can confirm the moment is related to his conversation with Ivan.

In an interview with Access, Wells revealed that the situation with Ivan wouldn’t have happened if not for some extraordinary circumstances. The BIP host also noted that other big moments — such as the “cake in the fire” drama with Mari Pepin-Solis as well as the Brendan Morais, Pieper James, and Natasha Parker debacle — did not compare to what Ivan did.

“Those things are kinda normal Paradise things,” Wells said. “The thing that is the most bonkers to me from my vantage point — which is on the beach — happens this week in Paradise, and it has to do with myself and Ivan. So it’s gonna be a good one.”

Then Wells teased what Ivan actually did on Bachelor in Paradise, noting that the contestant broke the rules during the storm. He said:

“It’s no secret that we all had to leave the beach because a hurricane was crashing down upon us, and we needed to make sure everyone was safe. So everyone is no longer on set. So when the cat’s away, I guess the mice will play. … Yeah, I think he broke some rules, and there are very few Paradise rules. It’s such a weird thing that happened. I don’t think we even thought to make it a rule, but it’s definitely a rule, and it’s definitely broken. It’s going to be a crazy episode.”

For now, Bachelor in Paradise fans will have to wait and see what happens with Ivan. The preview suggested that the drama involves Chelsea and Aaron in some capacity. But according to Bachelor Nation spoiler guru Reality Steve, what comes next is completely out of left field.

On Sept. 22, Reality Steve claimed Ivan snuck into Alexa Caves’ room during the storm on Bachelor in Paradise. Alexa, who is from Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, was allegedly supposed to arrive on the beach late in the season. But according to the franchise blogger, Alexa wasn’t allowed on the reality series. Reality Steve also claimed that Ivan was kicked off BIP.

If the Bachelor in Paradise spoilers come true, then many fans will be left wondering whether Ivan and Alexa are still together now. That is if the reality stars met up because they wanted to pursue something romantically. But as always, Bachelor Nation will have to wait and see what happens next. So stay tuned. There’s bound to be an update after everything airs.

Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 airs Tuesday nights on ABC.
