However, it seems Kaitlyn might have already debunked the theory about Katie and Greg ahead of The Bachelorette finale on Aug. 9. In the Aug. 5 episode of Click Bait, Kaitlyn claimed she checked in with Katie that morning, and the host revealed how the current lead really felt about the split.
At first, Kaitlyn shared that Katie recognized that she “could’ve done more” during the breakup. But ultimately, the situation made Katie realize that she wasn’t meant to be with Greg.
“[Katie] realizes in that moment, she could’ve done more,” Kaitlyn said. “And I think she’s more like, ‘Wow, I’m glad that happened there, and I could realize that he wasn’t my person.’ I think she’s finding some closure and comfort from watching it back.”

The former bachelorette was asked about Greg’s job, as he appeared on the show saying he was a marketing sales representative. But at the start of the season, rumors spread claiming that he attended William Esper Acting School in New York. Now, Tayshia has hinted that Greg will address his alleged career aspirations and whether he was really there for the “right reasons.”
“That will be addressed,” Tayshia said. “So just wait.”
