As of this write-up, there are two episodes left in Katie’s season of The Bachelorette. On Aug. 2, the ABC reality series will focus on Hometowns. That said, it appears something happens to shake up the schedule.

Typically, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will move into Fantasy Suites after Hometowns. Then there will be a final rose ceremony during the finale. However, many fans aren’t sure how Fantasy Suites and the final two dates will fit into the current schedule because The Bachelorette finale will air next week on Aug. 9.

Whatever happens as The Bachelorette Season 17 approaches its finale on Aug. 9, Katie has some big decisions to make in the upcoming episodes. As you may remember, Michael Allio self-eliminated in the week 8 episode. This means Katie has three people left — Greg Grippo, Justin Glaze, and Blake Moynes — going into Hometowns.

When speaking with Glamour, co-hosts Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams teased what to expect from the last two episodes of Katie’s Bachelorette season.

“A lot of shocking things are about to happen, and each episode from here on out is going to have everyone on the edge of their seats,” Kaitlyn said. “We’re just getting started.”

Tayshia also hinted that Hometowns are “really pivotal” for Katie. Then in an interview with Extra, The Bachelorette Season 16 star promised the next few episodes will be “intense.”

“I think the thing I was most shocked by hasn’t happened yet. So you’re just going to have to keep watching,” Tayshia said. “It’s not just one specific episode. From this point on, it’s going to be very intense.”

While Katie is in for quite the ride as The Bachelorette Season 17 finale approaches, it seems she’s doing just fine now. In the above interview with Glamour, Katie revealed that she’s “happy” after filming her finale.

“The truth will all come out August 9, but everything happens for a reason,” Katie said. “You deal with the cards you’ve been dealt, and you can’t live with regret or questioning what-ifs.”

But regardless of what happens in the finale, Bachelor Nation fans already have another bachelorette to look forward to. Previously, ABC revealed Michelle Young as the next bachelorette after Katie. The network also confirmed the start date for the upcoming season.

According to ABC, The Bachelorette Season 18 will premiere on Oct. 19, 2021. So viewers have about two months to prepare for Michelle’s journey. Get ready.
