‘The Bachelorette’: Jef Holm Dated This Star of ‘Too Hot to Handle’
Fans of The Bachelorette may recognize Jef Holm from Emily Maynard’s season of the popular reality competition series.
Holm’s relationship with Maynard didn’t last, but he soon struck up a romance with a star from another popular TV show. Holm may have found love on television, but recently, he has been making headlines for a different reason.

Jef Holm won his season of “The Bachelorette”
In season 8 of The Bachelorette, Holm competed with 24 other men for Emily Maynard’s heart. The competition was close, coming down to Holm and fellow finalist Arie Luyendyk, Jr. Luyendyk, Jr. went on to be the star of The Bachelor season 22. His season ended controversially with Luynendyk, Jr. proposing to winner Becca Kufrin, only to change his mind and go back to runner-up Lauren Burnham.
Holm proposed to Maynard in the finale of The Bachelorette. The couple was still together when the finale aired on July 22, 2012. But they abruptly ended their relationship just a few months later in October 2012.
Jef Holm recently got a restraining order against a former “Bachelorette” contestant
Holm’s appearance on The Bachelorette was back in 2012, but he has been in headlines again recently due to a feud with another former contestant. Not a contestant from his season, but a contestant from a later season of the same show.
Earlier this month, Holm obtained a temporary restraining order against Robby Hayes. Hayes is a contestant from season 12 of The Bachelorette and Holm’s former roommate.
In the court documents, Holm claimed that Hayes has repeatedly entered his home without permission and threatened him. “He threatens me and still hasn’t stopped to this day. He claims he has belongings there and that’s why he enters but he is not on the lease and is making me fearful.”
Holm said his safety is in jeopardy due to Hayes’ hostility. “I was alone in my home when he entered abruptly and aggressively started threatening me and I felt very unsafe. [Robby] yelled at me and threatened me and entered without permission.”
According to Holm, Hayes’ break-ins are regular occurrences. He noted that Hayes “enters the property and becomes hostile” at least “once a week.
Jef Holm dated Francesca Farago off-screen
Apparently, Holm’s experience with Maynard didn’t turn him off of dating reality stars. Holm was linked to Too Hot to Handle’s Francesca Farago in September 2020.
“Our mutual friend, Casey, introduced us a few weeks ago,” Jeff revealed, likely referring to Casy Boonstra, an Australian model Farago also used to date.
“She’s a lot of fun to be around,” Holm said of Farago. “We’ve been hanging out and getting to know each other. She’s a great person inside and out and we have a lot in common. I definitely have a crush on her.”
Farago never commented publicly on her relationship with Holm, but paparazzi snapped the couple kissing and vacationing together.
Farago is no stranger to dating celebrities. She has been romantically linked to the popular DJ Diplo, Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino, YouTuber Tana Mongeau, and Love Is Blind star Damian Powers.
