On June 14, The Bachelorette Season 17 Episode 2 ended without a rose ceremony. But the new chapter of Katie’s journey delivered plenty of drama.

During the first group date, several men stepped it up. But in the end, Mike and Thomas were the ones to impress Katie. Then the lead went on a one-on-one date with Greg, who was the first impression rose recipient, and the couple deepened their connection.

While the first half of The Bachelorette Week 2 kicked up the romance, the second half of the episode was dedicated to drama. On the next group date, the contestants were told to mud wrestle for extra time with Katie. In the end, Aaron won. Then Katie asked Aaron about the tension with Cody.

Ultimately, Aaron didn’t think Cody was on The Bachelorette for the right reasons. Then at the start of the night portion, Katie sent Cody home. But the evening didn’t end with an elimination. The new lead continued to speak with her men, and Andrew S. truly shined. He received the group date rose.

Meanwhile, The Bachelorette Season 17 Episode 2 continued the drama through the rose ceremony cocktail party. Karl told Katie there were other men who weren’t there for the right reasons. That said, he didn’t give any specifics, and Katie broke down. Now, the bachelorette is uncertain about her contestants.

‘The Bachelorette’ Season 17 Episode 3 promo trailer reveals what’s next for Katie Thurston

The Bachelorette Season 17 Week 3 promo trailer confirms the next new episode will pick up where things left off. In the preview, the cast members seem to express their frustration with Karl.

“Her entire world right now has just crumbled,” the contestants say. “He single-handedly made her doubt her relationship with each and every one of us.”

But it’s possible the drama will eventually shift. After a brief cameo from former Bachelor lead, Nick Viall, The Bachelorette promo teases something going on with Thomas.

“Thomas is some sort of manipulative psychopath,” Aaron says in a confessional.

Meanwhile, Thomas and Katie will continue to develop their relationship. But then the cast seemingly confronts the contestant. Hunter allegedly asks Thomas whether he’s ever thought he could end up being the bachelor.

“Yes, that was a thought that was on my mind,” Thomas replies.

A few intense moments flash by as The Bachelorette preview wraps. But before the trailer ends, the ABC reality series confirms Michael gets a one-on-one date with Katie, and it looks emotional. So will the contestant receive a rose? Stay tuned.

While Bachelor Nation fans will have to wait until June 22 for The Bachelorette Season 17 Episode 3, Katie already teased what’s coming next. On the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast on June 15, Katie revealed the new episode might include something fans haven’t seen before.

“The upcoming episode is going to be a pretty important conversation,” Katie said. “I don’t think it’s going to be highlighted before in this way. It’s a conversation I want Bachelor Nation to join in on. It’s a very important one for men and women to go through and understand. I’m just really excited to have that opportunity to share because I got to do that with the men. It really made a difference.”

She later added, “Going through this date, I didn’t know this conversation was going to happen. In my heart, I was like this is the time to share it. It surprised everybody, including myself. But it really was transformative for me on my journey and really bonded me with those men that were there.”

Meanwhile, The Bachelorette co-host Tayshia Adams noted the conversation in episode 3 will be “impactful.” So stay tuned. This one’s going to be interesting.
