Week 4 of The Bachelorette Season 17 continued all the drama involving Thomas Jacobs. Katie’s suitors came forward with their concerns. The new lead also questioned whether Thomas was really there for the right reasons.

In the end, Katie sent Thomas home at the rose ceremony. But before the contestant left, the bachelorette called him out for being “selfish, unkind, and a liar.”

“Your Bachelor audition ends tonight,” Katie said. “So get out.”

Katie also eliminated Christian Smith, Conor Costello, and David Scott in The Bachelorette Season 17 Week 4. Meanwhile, the lead brought back Blake Moynes, a Bachelor Nation alum from Tayshia Adams and Clare Crawley’s season.

‘The Bachelorette’ Week 5 preview teases Blake Moynes drama when he joins Katie Thurston’s season

The Bachelorette Season 17 Week 5 preview opens with some major romance for Katie. But it’s clear the new episode will focus on the drama.

The trailer begins with a sweet one-on-one date between Katie and Andrew Spencer (Andrew S.). The reality stars set up twinkly lights together, and Andrew says Katie is exactly what he’s been looking for. Later, Katie tells Greg Grippo she’s super into him. Then Greg echoes the comment back to the bachelorette.

Meanwhile, it seems episode 5 will feature two one-on-one dates. In The Bachelorette trailer, Katie and Blake go horseback riding, and they hit it off. That said, Blake’s arrival will lead to drama with the rest of The Bachelorette cast.

In a voiceover, Hunter Montgomery says the “last thing” they want is for someone to come in and take up time. Later on, he predicts Blake will never end up with Katie. But even so, it appears Greg and Connor Brennan (Connor B.) are worried Blake could be a big contender.

Nevertheless, Blake is unbothered. “If some of these guys are mad, I really don’t care,” Blake says. “I know that they’re not happy to see me.”

Clearly, The Bachelorette preview for week 5 wants fans to believe Blake shakes things up. But as the trailer continues, the ABC reality series suggested that Hunter’s competitiveness will be his downfall.

At one point, a contestant claims Hunter will “come out of nowhere” and take up time with Katie. Things also start to go down during a rugby group date.

“I don’t want to sound cocky. You may see some aggressiveness,” Hunter says as the dramatic music picks up in the background. “I’m competitive as hell, and they’re going to find that out.”

Suddenly, a Bachelorette cast member is injured, and no one knows whether he is OK as medics are called in. A looming shot of Hunter appears.

“He deserved exactly what he got,” Hunter seemingly says.

The Bachelorette Season 17 Week 5 preview seemingly wants fans to view Blake and Hunter as the next villains of Katie’s journey. And although the promo opens with some major romance, it’s clear the new episode will focus on the drama. So get ready. There’s a lot to unwrap next week.
