On Dec. 1, The Bachelorette fans spotted a diamond on Adams’ ring finger in a series of Instagram Stories. Adams shared an iced coffee recipe on the social media platform and some hawk-eyed viewers spotted the glittering gem on her left hand. Then her Instagram followers got another peek at the ring when Adams snapped a selfie while recording the Click Bait with Bachelor Nation podcast.

“New @clickbaitBN being recorded,” Adams captioned the Instagram Story pic, per Us Weekly

At first glance, the ring appeared to be on Adams’ right hand. However, Bachelor Nation fans noticed the former phlebotomist’s keyboard was flipped, meaning the ring was actually on Adams’ left hand. And of course, everyone started theorizing an engagement is in the bachelorette’s future.

What Tayshia Adams says about her ending on ‘The Bachelorette’

Now, an engagement for Adams may not be entirely surprising to many Bachelorette fans. Of course, the end goal is to get engaged. But there are plenty of frontrunners who are in the running to become Adams’ future husband.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight from November 2020, the new lead admitted she fell in love with “multiple men” on her season.

“I didn’t know it was possible to fall in love with multiple people,” Adams said. “But when you just really lean into the journey and really be vulnerable, you never know what can happen. And it happened to me.”

Meanwhile, when speaking with Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Adams revealed she wasn’t pressured into finding a husband on the show.

“I told them I don’t think I’m going to get engaged at the end of this,” Adams said. “I might just leave with a boyfriend or whatever. And they honestly said we’re not going to pressure you to do anything. You do what your heart wants.”

She continued, “I didn’t ever feel that pressure to be like, ‘Oh my god, I need to find a husband right now.’ I just kind of lived my journey how I wanted to.”

But whatever happens next, it appears Adams leaves The Bachelorette happier than ever. “I got out of the journey what I wanted,” she told Glamour

On Nov. 4, Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve revealed who Adams picks on The Bachelorette Season 16. The spoiler guru named Zac C. as the winner of Adams’ final rose. Reality Steve also claimed the couple did not get engaged in the finale. But he wasn’t sure whether they stayed together after the show.

Meanwhile, in a blog post published on Dec. 2, Reality Steve addressed the engagement theory inspired by Adams’ Instagram. However, it seems everyone will have to watch it unfold on The Bachelorette

“I don’t know if it is or isn’t, or if it’s a ruse or what,” the blogger wrote. “But that’s not what I’ve been told all season. So if that’s an engagement ring, that’s news to me, because as far as I was told, there was no engagement at the end of this season.”

Then Reality Steve acknowledged Bachelor Nation couples are allowed to have their engagement rings during a Happy Couple weekend. So the theory is still plausible. But whatever happens next, it certainly seems Adams journey on The Bachelorette will be worth the watch.
