The Bachelorette Season 17 Week 6 promised a few surprising exits, and the new episode certainly delivered. Following a heartfelt one-on-one date between Katie and Justin Glaze, the lead made a major decision about Connor Brennan. Katie realized that there was a spark missing. So she sent Connor B. home.

Meanwhile, the drama continued with Hunter Montgomery. But with Hometowns on the horizon, Katie didn’t want to play games. So she cut four more contestants.

In the end, Katie eliminated Hunter, Aaron Clancy, Tre Cooper, and James Bonsall. So now, there are seven people left on The Bachelorette Season 17, including Justin, Andrew Spencer, Blake Moynes, Greg Grippo, Michael Allio, Mike Planeta, and Brendan Scanzano.

‘The Bachelorette’ Week 7 preview teases which cast members might get dates

The Bachelorette Week 7 preview dives right into the romance. The new promo trailer begins with Katie and Greg on what looks like their second one-on-one date. They share a passionate kiss in the rain, and Greg shares how he really feels in a voiceover.

“I think that I found the love of my life,” he says.

It also appears Mike P. gets the other one-on-one date with Katie in The Bachelorette Season 17 Episode 7. The reality stars cuddle together dressed in white. Then Mike P. whispers into Katie’s ear.

“I’d rather have my heart broken a hundred times over than break somebody’s heart,” he says.

That said, it may not end well between Katie and Mike P. At one point, the bachelorette speaks to producers during the date, and she’s in tears as she speaks kindly about her contestants. As you may remember, Mike P. was spotted walking away from Katie in the Bachelorette midseason preview. They’re also wearing the same white outfits.

Meanwhile, it seems Andrew S., Blake, Justin, and Michael A. will go on the week 7 group date. The four men are seen walking outdoors, and they’re laughing together. Then things get intense.

‘The Bachelorette’ Week 7 promo shows Katie Thurston breaking down in the next episode

As The Bachelorette Week 7 preview continues, a voiceover from Blake hints who might be in danger in the next episode.

“Until you have a one-on-one, you 100% are behind,” Blake says.

Meanwhile, a clip of Katie and Greg next to a replica of the Seattle Gum Wall plays in the background. Then Katie tells Andrew S. she’s starting to fall for him. Later, the bachelorette chases the contestant and jumps into his arms. Michael A. also tells Katie “no one” can love Katie like he can. So it seems these contestants might be safe for the time being.

Nevertheless, Mike P. and Brendan aren’t in the clear. In a clip, Brendan looks worried, and he supposedly says he’s “desperate.” He doesn’t appear to get much alone time with Katie in the trailer. However, it’s possible Brendan could show up unexpectedly at Katie’s door, as his gray shirt seems to match the one from the midseason preview.

Blake also gets really honest with Katie, admitting that he couldn’t tell the bachelorette he was in love with her. Then as the new Bachelorette promo wraps, Katie fears that she could be “sending home the wrong person.”

Katie adds, “The one thing that’s keeping me going is the hope that this is all worth it in the end.”

Finally, The Bachelorette Week 7 preview ends. But it looks like more drama is coming before Hometowns. Katie breaks down in a pink evening gown. So who’s going home next week? We’ll have to wait and see.

The Bachelorette Season 17 Week 7 preview teases many clues, and ABC’s synopsis drops a few more. The description confirms both Brendan and Mike P. are feeling the pressure in the new July 19 episode. That said, it seems Greg will get more time instead.

“With hometown dates looming, Brendan and Mike feel the pressure of getting a one-on-one date as the only two yet to have coveted solo time with Katie,” the synopsis says. “Does she choose one of them to join her for a romantic recreation of her beloved hometown?”

Meanwhile, the synopsis revealed four cast members will go on a group date with Katie. They will go “on an artistic exploration inspired by New Mexico’s own Georgia O’Keefe.” ABC also teases one contestant who will study the “art of cuddling” with Katie — aka Mike P.

But whatever happens in week 7 of The Bachelorette, it looks like Katie will have some tough decisions to make in the next rose ceremony.

“Usually so confident in trusting her gut, Katie is faced with the hardest rose ceremony thus far and finds herself second-guessing her decision,” the synopsis says.

The Bachelorette Season 17 with Katie Thurston airs Monday nights on ABC.
