Previews show Hargrove presumably telling Lucas to “go f**k yourself.” Lucas told Showbiz Cheat Sheet his interactions with Hargrove become a little interesting. “She is a character,” he said. “She is a character. Crazy as they come. And her and I had some really, really great moments. But those moments like kind of died out pretty quick.”

In fact, Lucas opted for stew Raquel “Rocky” Dakota over Hargrove when he was was asked who he’d “rather share a bed with” on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “Eddie, who would you rather share a bed with, Rocky or chef Rachel?” host Andy Cohen asked Lucas. “Oh God,” Lucas replied, “Um, yeah, Rocky.”

Look for the drama to unfold between Chef Rachel and Eddie Lucas

The series has been tame compared to the last season of Below Deck Mediterranean. While Lucas has griped about Shane Coopersmith and James Hough, none of the crew members have warred just yet.

However, that dynamic seems to be poised to change. “It’s really bad,” Hargrove told Decider about Lucas. “But I’m one of those where I just hash it out or I walk off. I don’t care. I’m one of those. Where I’m like, ‘Mm. Is it something personal?'”

“Something was published where he said, ‘I have an issue with authority.’ I was like, [sigh],” she continued. “I’m just going to go back and think about Cartman. Remember with Cartman, he was like, [Cartman voice] ‘Respect my authority!’ It was really like that. I was like, authority is Captain Lee: Chief Officer, Chief Engineer. That’s it. Because I’m a department head as well.”

Hargrove told Showbiz Cheat Sheet she enjoyed working with the entire crew. But joked about the moment where she’s filmed telling “someone” to “go f**k yourself.”

“I can’t tell you who, but it may or may not have happened because the camera said so,” she laughed.

Francesca Rubi may also not be a favorite for Chef Rachel

While she wasn’t as blunt about new chief stew Francesca Rubi, Hargrove may not gel with her either. “It is what it is,” she told Decider. “It’s growing pains. At the same time, too, I knew Kate [wouldn’t be there]. And then she and I were in communication, really. Then I had the opportunity to do the show, and I was really excited. I was like, ‘Yeah, finally!’ After seven years of hearing about casting messaging me, finally I said, ‘Let’s do it.’ And then they were like, ‘Let’s go.'”

Former chief stew Kate Chastain and Hargrove go way back and were working together when Chastain made the decision to join Below Deck. “I really thought, at some point, I was like, Kate’s going to come back,” Hargrove said. “We’re friends, we’ve worked together. But it’s just working with a different dynamic, too. It is what it is.”
