‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’: Ciara Duggan Says ‘Yes’ to Paget Berry’s Proposal
More yachties are getting engaged as Ciara Duggan from Below Deck Sailing Yacht is engaged to Paget Berry.
The yachties previously played coy about the topic of marriage, but recently made a huge commitment and purchased a home. And while they insisted they were happy just to be together, Berry made it wedding official when he popped the question in his own unique way.
He used a ‘stunt’ ring
Always quick with the joke, Berry proposed but used a “stand-in” ring to seal the deal. Both Duggan and Berry shared the video moment on their Instagram.
Duggan sits by a fountain, completely unaware of what is about to happen. As Berry comes in for the big question, she keeps asking him if he’s serious as she looks totally taken by surprise. Her face completely lights up as he says that wants to marry her. He then explains that he’s giving her a “place setting” ring for now.
She’s glowing as she says yes. Duggan’s Instagram lit up with words of love from other cast members. “Your ring was a hit!” Duggan wrote to the friend who provided the stand in ring. “THE RING IS SO COOL!!!” Anastasia Surmava from Below Deck Mediterranean wrote. Adding, “I LOVE THAT YOU POSTED THE VIDEO!!! Paget 😂😂😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 omg I am so happy for you guys.” Jenna MacGillivray from Below Deck Sailing Yacht offered her congratulations. So did Jamie Jason and Kasey Cohen from Below Deck Med. Abbi Murphy from Below Deck, who left the series to get married added, “Congrats you two ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and that ring is so cool! Holy crap 😍.”
Colin Macy-O’Toole and Joao Franco from Below Deck Med also wished the couple well. Plus Jessica More from the current season of Below Deck Med was overwhelmed by the love. “I’m not crying 😭 your crying!!!” she wrote.
Love is in the ‘Below Deck’ air
Only days earlier, Amy Johnson from Below Deck also got engaged. She shared pictures of the big moment and could not be happier. “It all feels like a dream✨ Easiest “YES” of all time!!! I can not wait to be your MRS!!!🥂👰🏻,” she shared on Instagram with photos.
Duggan and Berry aren’t the first couple to get engaged from Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Viewers watched deckhand Parker McCown pop the question during a scuba dive to his girlfriend.
Also, other yachties who are planning a wedding are Connie Arias from Below Deck and Joao Franco from Below Deck Mediterranean. Tiffany Copeland from Below Deck Med is also engaged and learned she of the proposal when she accidentally found a photo of her engagement ring on her boyfriend’s phone. Some couples have married since being on the show. Julia d’Albert Pusey from Below Deck Med and Adrienne Gang from Below Deck got engaged and married.
