Did the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew lose a group of charter guests at sea? The first episode of season 2 kicks off with two guests who go missing on paddleboards and the crew is seriously worried.

Guest safety is always an issue in the series and the fact that the crew can’t locate two of the guests could be Captain Glenn Shephard’s worst nightmare come true. Previews show that the rest of the guests start to wonder what happened to their companions. “Where are Alex and Greg?” a guest ponders in a preview clip. That’s when their wonder ultimately turns to near panic as the crew goes into search party mode.

Deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux also realizes the guests have been gone for a long time. He turns to the guests to gauge the amount of time the guests were out of the range of sight. “I told you I don’t trust them,” one guest says to another.

Meanwhile, Cerza Lanaux is seriously concerned. “Where the f**k did these guests go?” he says in a confessional. One positive aspect on the crew’s side is that it is still early in the day so they have daylight to search for the guests.

But now the rest of the crew is involved and the stews look shocked. “Are they alright?” Shepard asks.

“I can’t really see them at the moment,” Cerza Lanaux replies. He hands the binoculars to Shephard so he can help locate the guests from the sailing yacht. Shephard remains calm as he scans the shore but tells Cerza Lanaux to “jump in and have a look.”

The interior team now looks extremely worried because no one can find the two guests. Cerza Lanaux is seen in a tender appearing concerned as he scans the shoreline. “The fact that I can’t see them is worrisome,” he says in a confessional.

The crew tries to communicate with Cerza Lanaux by radio and Shephard continues to monitor the situation.

But now Cerza Lanaux becomes so desperate he begins to scream the guest’s names into the horizon. The preview ends with the crew unsuccessfully finding the guests as Cerza Lanaux continues to shout the guests’ names and even whistle.
