Dani Donato Briones won Head of Household last week, breaking a Big Brother franchise record. If she wins another this season, the three-time competitor will tie the record for most HOH victories of all-time.

Dani Donato Briones returned for ‘Big Brother 22’

In 2007, Dani Donato competed on Big Brother 8 alongside her estranged father Dick, as part of a Rivals twist. Even though the two hadn’t spoken in years, they worked together throughout the entire season.

Dani won two Head of Household competitions and a record-tying five Power of Vetos, which ultimately helped them reach the Final Two, the only father/daughter pair to do so. Despite Dani’s impressive physicality, she lost to her dad in a 5-2 vote.

The two returned for season 13, but Dick walked after the first week upon receiving a positive HIV diagnosis. Even though Dani had a Golden Key that kept her safe until the final 10, she won two Head of Household competitions before getting voted out in a Double Eviction.

The now 34-year-old stay-at-home mom returned for Big Brother 22: All-Stars and quickly got into the core alliance alongside Cody Calafiore and Nicole Franzel.

Even though Dani positioned herself well in the house, her first HOH win of BB22 almost put her in a bad spot. Because David Alexander and Kevin Campbell were the only remaining houseguests she didn’t have a deal or safety pact with, she nominated the outsiders for eviction.

However, David saved himself using the Disruptor power, forcing Dani to select another person on the spot. She ended up going with ally Tyler Crispen because she deemed the BB20 runner-up a liability for her game.

Da’Vonne Rogers then won Power of Veto and saved Kevin, making the HOH name another person. Not having any options left, she had to turn on Four Prime ally Ian Terry and backdoor the former winner, who ended up becoming the first member of the jury.

Dani broke franchise record with ‘Big Brother 22’ HOH win

The stay-at-home mother has won an HOH in every season she’s played, making her the first player in BB history to win the title in three different seasons. Da’Vonne has also competed three separate times but has yet to win an HOH.

BB7 champ Mike “Boogie” Malin and Kaysar Ridha both won the title in their first two seasons but didn’t bring it home in their third. Additionally, Janelle Pierzina won HOH several times in BB6 and 7 but failed to win any competitions during her last two seasons.

Finally, Nicole walked away with the title three times in BB16 and twice in BB18. If she wins HOH this season, she’ll become the second player in BB history to obtain the power in three different seasons.

Additionally, if Dani wins another and Nicole wins one this season, both will tie the all-time record currently held by Rachel Reilly, Paul Abrahamian, and Janelle, with a total of six HOH wins. Big Brother 22: All-Stars airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
