[SPOILER ALERT: Spoilers ahead for Big Brother 22.]

Ever since Memphis Garrett made David Alexander a Have-Not and nominated him during the second week of Big Brother 22, the two haven’t been the best of friends. Memphis became more annoyed with David when the BB21 competitor refused to own up to playing a power to save himself. The BB10 runner-up tried to intimidate the truth out of David in a tense moment that wasn’t captured on the Live Feeds.

Memphis Garrett nominated David Alexander

After forming The Committee consisting of Tyler Crispen, Dani Donato Briones, Cody Calafiore, Nicole Franzel, and Christmas Abbott, Big Brother 10 runner-up Memphis Garrett became Head of Household for Week 2.

As an outgoing Have-Not, he had the opportunity to choose someone to take his place, and he selected BB21 first boot, David Alexander.

The HOH then encouraged everyone to compete in the upcoming Safety Suite competition to save themselves and nominated BB21 finalist Nicole Anthony because she didn’t.

Even though David followed his advice and participated in the competition, Memphis still nominated the houseguest because he wanted David to “prove himself.”

The BB21 competitor didn’t appreciate Memphis putting him on slop and nominating him in the same week and vowed to come after him if he won HOH.

However, the two have formed a cordial relationship as David is more interested in targeting competitors he perceives as the “core,” including Cody, Nicole, and Dani.

David Alexander saved himself from eviction

After Bayleigh Dayton’s eviction, the remaining houseguests faced off for the next title of HOH in an endurance competition on the infamous wall. After nearly two hours, Dani emerged victoriously.

Due to her close ties with everyone else in the house, the BB8 runner-up nominated the only two houseguests left that she didn’t align with: Kevin Campbell and David.

However, the BB21 competitor had a secret power, which allowed him to save himself or someone else if the HOH nominated them. Therefore, he activated the power a few hours later, forcing Dani to name someone else.

Not wanting to target Da’Vonne Rogers or Ian Terry, the HOH nominated her ally, Tyler, confusing the rest of The Committee. Additionally, David refused to admit that he played the power on himself and claimed he thought someone else saved him.

A few of the other houseguests, namely Memphis and Cody, became annoyed with David for lying about it.

Memphis Garrett intimidated David Alexander off-feeds

Later that night, Memphis told his allies that he didn’t think David had the strength to hold the secret in for long. He also stated he would “get it out” of the BB21 houseguest and claimed executive producer Rich Meehan said he could use intimidation tactics.

The same night, David sat outside with Enzo Palumbo, Ian, Nicole, and Christmas. Memphis walked out of the pool and stormed toward David but the cameras cut to Da’Vonne and Kevin in the bathroom before he said anything.

The BB10 runner-up then walked into the bathroom to shower and bragged about confronting David about his lies. Memphis stated he walked over to him, slapped his hand on David’s back, and congratulated him for “popping his competition cherry.”
