“America’s Couple” Jeff and Jordan Schroeder met in the Big Brother house over 10 years ago and recently landed a new television series based on homes, This You Need to See. While some BB fans wish fan-favorite player and Minnesota-based real estate agent Janelle Pierzina received the show instead, she could make an appearance.

Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd met during ‘Big Brother 11’

In 2009, Illinois-based advertising salesman Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd, a waitress from North Carolina, made their reality television debut for CBS’ Big Brother season 11.

While she entered a member of the doomed Popular clique, he came in with the Athletes, and the two fell for each other, forming a showmance.

They were initially on the bottom but able to gain some power when America voted for Schroeder to win the Coup d’Etat, giving him the ability to replace both nominees with his own selections after the Power of Veto.

After getting tricked into eliminating his ally, the Illinois native was blindsided the following week. Lloyd’s amiable personality kept her into the game, and she won the last Head of Household competition, earning her way to the final two, where she took home the victory.

The couple later married and started a family

“America’s Couple” officially announced they began dating shortly following the show and made a couple of appearances on The Early Show, Bold and the Beautiful, and The Bonnie Hunt Show.

A year later, the recently dating team competed on The Amazing Race 16, where their breakdowns in communication resulted in a seventh-place finish. Additionally, they returned for BB13, with him placing sixth and her finishing fourth.

Shortly later, in 2012, they relocated to Los Angeles and documented the move in the CBS web series, Jeff and Jordan do America. They also frequently returned to the Big Brother house to host competitions.

While visiting the season 16 houseguests in 2014, Schroeder proposed. He appeared on a few episodes of daytime shows Rachel Ray and The Talk before joining the cast of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars 3 (2015) alongside his fiance.

She then appeared in two episodes of the morning talk show Home & Family before quietly marrying Schroeder in 2016. The couple launched a YouTube channel where they documented the pregnancy journeys of their sons, Lawson Keith (4) and Layton Sarti (2).

Schroeder is currently the co-host of the online entertainment and news program Daily Blast Live

Why Janelle Pierzina might make an appearance in their new real estate show

In Mar. 2021, the couple announced they were the co-hosts of the new CBS real estate television series, This You Need to See. The program will showcase the top real estate agents and their properties that are currently on the market.

Produced by four-time Emmy Award winner Shane Farley (Rachel Ray, The Wayne Brady Show, The Rosie O’Donnell Show) and Alex Boyland, the show premieres April 17 on CBS and will eventually air on Amazon Prime.

In a statement to CNN, Lloyd explained they recently bought their dream home and signed on for the series to help other families do the same. While many Big Brother fans thought fan-favorite four-time competitor Janelle Pierzina should have landed the series instead, there’s a chance the Minnesota-based real estate agent might make an appearance.

The popular contestant received her license in 2008 and earned Rookie of the Year for her firm. She’s also a top producing agent in her area. Due to her real estate accolades and Big Brother connection, there’s a chance fans could catch her in an episode of the series.
