Big Brother 23 has shown one alliance working hard to stay in the house throughout the season. That would be The Cookout who has a great duo plan. Now there is The Monarchy alliance and this is the answer to if it’ll put The Cookout at risk.

[Spoiler alert: Spoilers for the Big Brother 23 episode and live feeds on Aug. 23!]

The Cookout has been running ‘Big Brother 23’

Early in the season Hannah Chaddha, Xavier Prather, Kyland Young, Tiffany Mitchell, Derek Frazier, and Azah Awasum agreed to not target each other until jury. They called themselves The Cookout.

They made it to jury, but decided to move forward to be the final six. However, they are still power struggles to be the last person to keep their ally in the game to have their options. The good thing for them is that The Cookout has maintained power no matter who wins Head of Household (HOH).

That’s because each houseguest is part of a semi-fake duo. If their partner wins HOH, then they get to be in their person’s ear and control their week. If their partner is on the block, they can sit next to them and the rest of The Cookout can vote to evict their pawn.

The plan has worked and there aren’t really any alliances to compete against them. But a new one has popped up.

What is The Monarchy Alliance and could it end The Cookout?

Sarah Beth Steagall, Alyssa Lopez, Xavier, and Kyland decided to make their own alliance called The Monarchy on Aug. 23. Xavier mentioned they might as well pair up because other people are already assuming they’re working together. This is a good story to go with since Sarah Beth, Alyssa, and Xavier were previously in The Kings team. Sarah Beth and Kyland have also been seen as a duo.

For Sarah Beth and Alyssa, this has made them feel much safer in the game pairing up with their ally. However, it looks like Kyland and Xavier are much more loyal to The Cookout.

‘Big Brother’ Spoiler: A Final 3 Forms Within The Cookout

There have been conversations this week in The Cookout that Sarah Beth will have to go next week. The only question is who will be HOH, and Derek F is hoping to win and/or get power over the block with the Coin of Destiny.

If that happens, the fake Monarchy Alliance will lose a member. But Alyssa will most likely stay loyal to Kyland and Xavier because she has no one else. And the blame of Sarah Beth going home will most likely be placed on someone outside of their group.

It looks like The Cookout is still dominating the game. But there are fractures in the group that will lead to an interesting power struggle once the house comes down to six.
