Big Brother 23 fans are starting to predict who will win the season. Xavier Prather is a common bet, but now that the game is changing, it looks like his chances of winning are getting worse.

[SPOILER ALERT: Spoilers ahead for the Big Brother 23 live feeds on Aug. 31 and the veto winner.]

Xavier has been playing a winning game on ‘Big Brother 23’

Many houseguests and fans are saying Xavier is going to win. That’s because he’s a competition beast by winning one Head of Household (HOH) competition and a Power of Veto.

He also felt safe enough to risk being the third nominee for a week. That’s because he’s a member of The Cookout (Xavier. Kyland Young, Tiffany Mitchell, Hannah Chaddha, Azah Azasum, and Derek Frazier).

The Cookout has been a stable alliance in that they have managed to stay together instead of turn on each other. But the members have certainly fought. Tiffany and Azah have been at odds. Tiffany and Derek F have also had trouble seeing eye to eye. Xavier usually kept the alliance together by smoothing over disagreements.

Being the bridge between allies has put people in the winning position in previous seasons, including Cody Calafiore last season. But now it looks like Xavier’s game might be in danger.

Xavier’s chances of winning are getting worse

Xavier has an impressive resume with his wins, but the problem is the rest of the house is noticing and are leaving him out of their plans for the rest of the game. Xavier and Hannah have plans to go to the end together, but Hannah is willing to turn on him. She is more loyal to Tiffany, according to her Aug. 31 plans on the live feeds.

Derek F has also been trying to get Xavier and Kyland to agree to make plans to be the final 3. But Xavier and Kyland are very aware that they are each other’s biggest competition. They have been planning to turn on each other sooner than later.

What does this mean for Xavier’s game? It looks like he’ll have to win competitions to get to the end. It certainly wouldn’t be impossible for him. But he needs to work on his social game so he won’t have to rely on that.

Xavier started this week as the third nominee on the block. The live feeds have shown him pretty calm, given Sarah Beth Steagall is the target this week.

But Hannah revealed she wanted to use the veto on him, and Kyland tried to convince her to use the veto on him instead. This angered Xavier, and he wasn’t afraid to say Kyland now has to go on Aug. 29.

That isn’t the only ally Xavier talked about cutting this week. Alyssa Lopez commented to Claire Rehfuss that she is the last white person in the house. Xavier felt like Alyssa had to go soon because of this, even though neither of them knows about The Cookout.

Xavier should probably hold on to Alyssa as long as he can. But it looks like he’s ready to evict her, and he doesn’t have any other loyal allies left past the final six.
