Popstar Billie Eilish may have reached the heights of fame, but that doesn’t mean she can’t still get star-struck.

On Sept. 28, Eilish met some of the most famous people in the world, including Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William. Here’s what happened and the photos of Eilish’s encounter with the royals.

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell wrote the movie’s theme song

The “Ocean Eyes” singer got to meet members of the royal family at the premiere of the James Bond movie No Time to Die. The film marks the last film Daniel Craig will star in as James Bond.

Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas O’Connell, created the theme song for the film. The opportunity was a dream come true for Eilish. She and her brother wrote the song together back in 2019.

The song features a 70-piece orchestra playing a composition by Hans Zimmer, with input from Eilish and O’Connell.

According to Vulture, Zimmer had already been offered a small suite of options from several artists. “I’m not going to say who,” Zimmer said of the other artists’ tracks, “but I am going to get myself into loads of trouble, and I don’t care: I couldn’t get past the intro.” But when he heard Eilish and Finneas’s version, he thought, “That’s the vibe. That’s the everything. It’s a perfect movie song. In its quietness, somehow, you have a huge landscape in front of you.”

The singer was adorably star-struck when meeting royals Prince William and Kate Middleton

The No Time to Die premiere took place on Tuesday, Sept. 28, inside the Royal Albert Hall in London. Hollywood stars like Rami Malek, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Ana de Armas, and more gathered to watch the long-awaited film.

In an interview with BBC leading up to the premiere, Eilish said, “It’s going to be crazy. Oh, my god, I’m going to pee myself.”

While Eilish may not have been specifically referring to meeting Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cambridge when expressing her excitement, it’s clear from the look on her face that she was star-struck while interacting with the royals.

While she conducted herself with more composure than we could expect from any 19-year-old, Eilish was beaming, blushing, and grinning from ear to ear.

How Hans Zimmer Chose Billie Eilish to Sing the New Bond Song

Billie Eilish appeared to show off a new tattoo at the Bond premiere

The popstar also appeared to subtly debut new ink at the No Time to Die premiere. She gave fans a glimpse of a fairy tattoo on her left hand. More specifically, the tattoo looks like two fairies flying.

The ink had to be fresh since she didn’t have it when she performed at the Governer’s Ball the weekend prior.

Based on previous interviews, the fairies are Eilish’s third tattoo. She has a large black dragon on her right thigh, which was visible in her second look at the 2021 Met Gala. Although the scarlet gown with a cape and thigh-high slit didn’t get as much attention as her blush tulle ball gown, the outfit was still a striking departure from Eilish’s usual look of oversized T-shirts and baggy pants. The singer also has the word “Eilish” in the middle of her chest in an ornate, gothic font. She got the name tattoo the day after the 2020 Grammys, according to Rolling Stone.
