‘BIP’: Did ‘The Bachelorette’ Spoil Connor Brennan’s ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Journey?
Many Bachelorette fans have been looking forward to watching Connor Brennan find love on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7. But it looks like the “Men Tell All” special episode on July 26 might’ve just spoiled what happens to Connor B. when BIP returns in 2021. So here’s a breakdown of what went down during the cast reunion.

Connor Brennan kissed a ‘Bachelorette’ audience member during ‘Men Tell All’
As you may remember, Katie Thurston sent Connor B. home in week 5 of The Bachelorette. The couple started off strong. However, Katie didn’t feel any “spark” when they kissed. Then Connor the Cat was grilled for his kissing technique during The Bachelorette Season 17 “Men Tell All.” But in a turn of events, an audience member — who was suspiciously already mic’d up — interrupted the segment.
“I just wanna say, Connor, that I watched you on the show, and I just think you’re absolutely adorable,” she said. “I know that you can’t be a bad kisser.”
At first, Connor admitted he was checking out the audience member while filming the “MTA.” Then he proceeded to kiss her as the rest of the cast cheered him on. Connor also gave the woman a rose, and he asked for her number before The Bachelorette went on commercial break.
Connor B. already filmed ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 7
While the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 premiere doesn’t air until Aug. 16, Connor B. already filmed the summer series. So, given his kiss during the “Men Tell All,” many Bachelor Nation fans wondered whether Connor B. ends his BIP journey single.
According to Bachelor Nation spoiler guru Reality Steve, Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 wrapped filming on June 26. Connor B. also opened up about his experience on the beach following his “Men Tell All” appearance.
“I was definitely nervous the first day on Paradise,” Connor B. told Extra after the cast reunion. “But everyone made me feel right at home. We just let loose.”
Meanwhile, Connor B. hoped that the kissing went “better” during BIP. He also mentioned that he was excited to meet Jessenia Cruz from Matt James’ season of The Bachelor. But seeing as he kissed someone during the “Men Tell All” special, it doesn’t look like things worked out in Paradise.
Are Connor B. and Tara Kelly dating after ‘The Bachelorette’ and ‘BIP’?
Whatever happens to Connor B. when Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 is released, it seems possible something could be blossoming with the woman he kissed at the “Men Tell All.” The audience member is musician Tara Kelly, and Connor B. revealed they’re still talking.
“I have her number. We FaceTimed,” Connor B. said on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.
Connor B. also suggested that he’d be willing to start dating Tara.
“The great thing is she’s also a musician, and she comes to Nashville a lot,” the Bachelor Nation star said. “So I invited her to Nashville to take her on a date at some point.”
While it seems Connor B. and Tara should’ve actually been on The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart, many viewers are hoping this story gets a happily ever after. But whatever happens next, it’s certainly been quite the ride.
The Bachelorette Season 17 finale airs on Aug. 9. The Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 premiere drops on Aug. 16.
