‘BIP’: Dean Unglert Said He’s Thrown Out Every Gift He’s Ever Gotten From Past Girlfriends
While we may not have a Bachelor in Paradise to watch in summer 2020, fans are still reeling over what happened last season. Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes hit it off when they met in Paradise. But Unglert dumped Miller-Keyes once he realized their relationship probably wouldn’t work in the real world. Not soon after the breakup, he returned and told Miller-Keyes he regretted his decision. And the two have been together ever since.
Now, Miller-Keyes and Unglert blog about their exciting life together. And both of them recently celebrated their birthdays in quarantine. While discussing Miller-Keyes’ birthday on Unglert’s podcast, Help! I Suck at Dating …, he also mentioned that he’s thrown out all the gifts he’s ever received from past girlfriends.
Dean Unglert said he’s more serious about Caelynn Miller-Keyes than past girlfriends
Unglert doesn’t seem the most committed when it comes to relationships, but it seems his romance with Miller-Keyes is the real deal. While he didn’t think his traveling-in-a-van lifestyle would fit with her pageantry past, the two seem to be making things work. And he’s even commented on his podcast regarding why he thinks his relationship with Miller-Keyes is more serious than what he’s had in the past.
“I feel like in all my other relationships before, I would hide certain aspects of myself because I didn’t really exactly who or what I was,” Unglert said. ” still obviously don’t. But I’m getting more and more comfortable with who I am, so that allows me to be more confident and transparent, I guess. And I think that, in turn, just leads to a deeper connection with a significant other in Caelynn, in this case, because it’s just like, we are who we are.”
Miller-Keyes threw Unglert a sweet birthday bash during quarantine
Miller-Keyes and Unglert have taken to vlogging their quarantine experience amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. And they’ve both now celebrated their birthdays without the ability to leave the house and go somewhere fun. That doesn’t mean they let their birthdays go by the wayside, though. Miller-Keyes showed how she celebrated Unglert’s big day — and she went all-out.
“It is Dean’s birthday and we’re obviously still quarantined, so I’m gonna get him some breakfast in bed, I got him a little Deanie baby, and we’re gonna try to make this a good quarantined birthday,” Miller-Keyes explains in her video.
The video then shows how Miller-Keyes brought Unglert breakfast first, and that was followed by more snacking and, finally, Domino’s pizza. He also got a custom cake and plenty of sweet, thoughtful gifts as well.
Unglert said he’s thrown out all the gifts his exes got him
Miller-Keyes got Unglert plenty of thoughtful gifts. And it looks like her gifts, cards, and sweet sentiments are the only ones Unglert’s holding on to for now. He said on his podcast, Help! I Suck at Dating …, that he threw away all of his old keepsakes from ex-girlfriends.
“When I was moving out of my house and moving into the van, I discovered an old shoebox that I had,” Unglert said. And he further explained that it contained “keepsakes” and “mementos” from past relationships. “And I looked at them, opened them up, laughed a little bit, and then I just chucked the whole box in the trashcan.”
“So up until last year, I had kept everything I had received from any girlfriend or whatever that had written me cards,” Unglert continued, “and I was just like, you know what, enough’s enough, I’m throwing these away.”
Hopefully, Miller-Keyes and Unglert continue their relationship so all of Miller-Keyes’ heartfelt gifts don’t get tossed!
