Katie and Blake got together in The Bachelorette Season 17. Blake, who previously dated Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams in season 16, joined Katie’s cast midway through the season. Then Bachelor Nation fans watched as Blake and Katie fell in love.

In The Bachelorette finale on Aug. 9, Katie and Blake decided whether they wanted to get engaged. Of course, the reality stars seemed like they were in love. But meeting the family revealed some things they still had to figure out beyond The Bachelor bubble. For example, Katie lived in Seattle, and she has since moved to San Diego. Meanwhile, Blake is from Canada and has been working in Africa.

In the end, Katie picked Blake as her final rose, and the contestant got down on one knee. Then the two updated Bachelor Nation fans on their engagement months after leaving The Bachelorette together. They were still happily in love at the time, and they had a few logistics to sort out. But even so, Katie and Blake were seen together on social media often.
