Dorothy Wang’s father is a self-made billionaire

Born January 27, 1988, in Beverly Hills, Dorothy Wang is currently 34-years-old.

Her father, Roger, relocated from Taiwan to Los Angeles, where he began building condominiums, ultimately becoming a self-made billionaire.

Additionally, he founded a China-based real estate firm specializing in malls and office buildings, Golden Eagle International. Forbes lists him as the 848th wealthiest person globally in 2022, with a reported net worth of $3.4 billion.

She went to school at the University of Southern California and got her real estate license. Wang previously worked at The Agency alongside actor and reality star Kyle Richards’ husband, Mauricio Umansky.

Wang previously appeared in two reality shows and has an impressive net worth

In 2014, Wang debuted as an original cast member on the E! reality series Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, which followed twenty-ish millionaires by inheritance and their daily lives.

During the fourth and last season, which aired in 2016, Wang also served as a producer. She and Morgan Stewart are the only main cast members who appeared in every season.

E! News called her the “de facto Queen Bee” and applauded her luxury purse collection throughout her time on the show. Wang was also featured in Famously Single (2017) and claimed she believed the show “worked” for her.

Before joining the Bling Empire cast, Wang launched a website where she offers various travel tips and recommendations, previously sold jewelry, and had a sparkling wine line Rich and Bubbly. According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, her net worth is an estimated $10 million.

Wang had drama with Kane Lim during ‘Bling Empire’ Season 2

Most of Wang’s screen time in Bling Empire Season 2 involves her rivalry with Kane Lim. It seems the two have known each other through mutual friends but haven’t established a relationship of their own yet.

Lim wants to do so, mainly due to her Chinese zodiac sign, whereas Wang claimed she would prefer to “fast for 87 days straight.” She later clarified her unwillingness to become his friend, as she considers him “obnoxious” and didn’t like how he treated her friend Ezra William.

When Wang asked about their rivalry, the conversation got heated before he stormed out of the restaurant. The two didn’t conclude, instead agreeing they probably weren’t meant to be friends. They didn’t film with each other for the rest of the season.

Following the season 2 premiere, Lim and Wang spoke about their feud in an interview with People. He claimed he felt she always treated him poorly and tried to give it a chance. However, Wang noted she felt “forced into a situation with him” and doesn’t believe they need any sort of “resolution.” Bling Empire is streaming on Netflix.
