‘Bridgerton’ Season 2 cast includes Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran

Although many fans might still be devastated that Regé-Jean Page won’t be by Phoebe Dynevor’s side in Bridgerton Season 2, there’s another couple for viewers to fall in love with this time. Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma look stunning dancing in the latest Netflix photo tease. Twitter blew up with the news that the Viscount had his hand placed dangerously close to Kate’s chest while they danced together in a ballroom full of the men and women of the ton. Plus, that corgi was the center of endless tweets. To fans who read the novel already, their beloved Newton finally has a face.

‘Bridgerton’ Season 2 trailer on Netflix

In Bridgerton Season 2, Kate and her younger sister, Edwina (portrayed by Charithra Chandran) arrive from India. Anthony begins to court Edwina; however, Kate finds out that he has ill intentions and confronts him.

“Edwina has been taught by her older sister Kate to be the perfect debutante,” according to the Netflix press release. “She’s kind-natured and endlessly endearing. But while she may be young and naive, she also knows what she wants: a true love match.”

When Kate and Anthony banter in the Netflix Bridgerton Season 2 trailer, it reminds viewers of the attitude that Daphne gave to the Duke of Hastings in season 2. Will it turn into as compelling as a romance as Daphne and Simon? We all hope so.

When does ‘Bridgerton’ Season 2 come out?

Bridgerton Season 2 drops to Netflix on March 25, 2022 at 3 a.m. EST and it looks every bit as amazing as the first season. Additionally, the Bridgerton series might be a period drama, but the writers and creators love to emphasize feminism at every turn. In another photo, Ashley holds a rifle in the center of the frame while the men fade into the background. It looks like viewers get more action, similar to Daphne in season 1.
