Britney Spears’ Son Says She May ‘Quit’ & Isn’t Sure If She’s ‘Controlled’
Britney Spears is one of the most famous musicians of the past twenty years. She’s also had a rocky personal life. At times, her career seemed pretty unstable.
Her career might be unstable again. In fact, she might abandon music altogether. Spears’ son, Jayden Federline, recently opened up about helping his mother “break free” and whether or not she’s being “controlled.”

Many Spears fans have heard of her sons, Sean Preston Federline, age 14, and Jayden James Federline, age 13. However, Jayden is generally not the sort to make waves in the media. Yahoo! Celebrity reports that all changed on March 3, 2020, when he posted a revealing video to Instagram.
Jayden had some complimentary things to say about both his parents. He praised the parenting skills of his father, Kevin Federline, comparing him to Jesus Christ. He also said his mother is “pretty legendary.” He said his mother’s best songs are “Toxic” and “…Baby One More Time.”
Jayden also took questions about his mother and the other members of his family. During the video, fans wanted to know if his mother is planning to make new music soon. After all, Spears has not released a new album since Glory, a 2016 album heavily influenced by modern R&B.
Jayden Federline makes some shocking admissions about Britney Spears
Jayden said he noticed his mother wasn’t making much music lately. He said “I remember one time I asked her, I said, ‘Mom, what happened to your music?’ and she was like, ‘I don’t know, honey. I think I might just quit it.’”
Jayden said he was shocked by her words. After all, he noted, his mother makes a significant amount of money through her music career. He also said he didn’t think his father would reprimand him for making the video.
According to Cosmopolitan, Jayden said he had more details to tell the world about his mother. However, he’s not interested in revealing more until he has 5,000 Instagram followers. A fan asked Jayden if he thinks his mother is being “controlled.” He answered “No. I don’t know.”
A fan mentioned the #FreeBritney movement. The movement believes Spears lost control of her life to her father after she was placed under a conservatorship in 2008. The Union Journal reports a fan mentioned the possibility of Jayden trying to help Spears “break free.” Jayden said “that’s what I’m trying to do.”
