On April 8, April 9, April 15, and April 16, BTS put on Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas, the last stop of the band’s Permission to Dance On Stage tour. The four Las Vegas concerts were held at Allegiant Stadium in front of a sold-out audience. The last concert of Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas was streamed online for fans around the world to watch, and all four nights also featured a “LIVE PLAY in LAS VEGAS” event at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

BTS sold out four concerts for ‘Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas’

Big Hit Music announced BTS’ Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas concerts in February. Tickets for the concerts famously sold out in the first presale.

In addition to the in-person audience at Allegiant Stadium, a special event called “LIVE PLAY in LAS VEGAS” broadcast a livestream of the concerts at MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 8, April 9, April 15, and April 16.

The final Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas concert was livestreamed on Weverse Concerts on April 16.

According to a press release, here is Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas by the numbers:

  • The in-person concerts at Allegiant Stadium were attended by “approximately 200,000 people.”
  • The in-person “LIVE PLAY in LAS VEGAS” broadcast event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena “gathered approximately 22,000 viewers.”
  • The livestream of BTS’ Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas concert on Weverse Concerts “reached approximately 402,000” viewers “from 182 countries/regions.”
  • By selling out Allegiant Stadium for Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas, “BTS are the only artist to have sold-out approximately 200,000 tickets over four nights” at the stadium.

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook started their Permission to Dance On Stage concert series with an online concert on Oct. 24, 2021.

On Nov. 27, Nov. 28, Dec. 1, and Dec. 2, 2021, BTS put on Permission to Dance On Stage – LA at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The septet held Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul on March 10, March 12, and March 13.

Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas was the fourth and final installment of the Permission to Dance On Stage tour.

In total, the Permission to Dance On Stage tour featured 12 shows in Seoul, LA, and Las Vegas.

According to a press release, the tour “amassed over 4 million attendees/viewers total, across all formats including in-person concerts, virtual live stream, LIVE VIEWING and LIVE PLAY.”

BTS will release a new album in June

Following the completion of Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas and the Permission to Dance era, BTS announced the start of a new era.

In a special video presentation at the end of the last Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas concert, BTS surprised concertgoers by announcing their next album will be released on June 10.

The video was later shared on Big Hit Music’s official Twitter account for BTS. The teaser shows scenes from BTS’ different eras and teases the tagline “WE ARE BULLETPROOF.”
