This idol is BTS’ unofficial “resident prince charming.” He’s a singer, dancer, and fashion icon, known for sporting different hair colors. For the “Black Swan” music video, that meant blue. For the “Boy With Luv” music video, that meant pink hair.

He’s the artist behind the solo tracks, “Filter” and “Intro: Serendipity.” Jimin is one of the seven members of the K-pop group, BTS, featured in songs like “Dynamite” and “Boy With Luv.”

Aside from his fashion choices, Jimin has worn colored contacts to match BTS’ musical eras, as well as different accessories like earrings and rings. Along with the other BTS members — Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, and Jungkook — Jimin dyes his hair periodically. 

In 2017, Jimin transformed his hair from bubblegum pink to platinum blonde to blonde to a caramel brown. The following year, Jimin sported a green-ish hair color. Some BTS fans who attended the Love Yourself Tour saw this hair in person.

What is BTS’ Jimin’s favorite hair color on himself?

This BTS member is known for his different hair colors and even wearing colored contacts. In 2020, the BTS members answered interviews in conjunction with the “On” music video. For Jimin, that meant a question regarding his favorite hair color. At first, he couldn’t choose which style best suited him.

“Well, that’s a tough one,” Jimin said, according to a translation on the video. “My hair’s this color now, so I really like this. What color is this? Blue-ish? Navy-ish?”

During a 2018 interview with Buzzfeed, the members each shared their favorite hair colors. For RM, that was silver and for V, it was black. Jimin couldn’t pick just one hairstyle, saying, “I colored my hair numerous times. I liked them all in their own unique way.”

He’s not afraid to sport blue, gray, and even pink hair. With partnerships with brands like FILA and Louis Vuitton, the BTS members often express themselves through fashion. When it comes to makeup and skincare, Jimin shared a few of his thoughts.

“I don’t really do anything extra special for my skin on the plane,” Jimin said of his skincare routine during an interview with Allure. “But I try to drink as much water as possible.”
