BTS’ live performances were impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Still, this K-pop group remained the world’s biggest boy band. The oldest group member, Jin, noticed that while looking at a slideshow of pictures.

Kim Seokjin (also known by his stage name Jin) doesn’t need permission to dance. As the lead “visual” for BTS, the oldest member of this K-pop group is known for his good looks. ARMYs even awarded him the nickname “Car Door Guy” for looking flawless while exiting a vehicle.

Even while overseas, Jin sometimes introduces himself as Worldwide Handsome Jin, a joke that somehow evolved into an official nickname for the “Moon” vocalist.

“Plenty of people are more handsome than me. ‘Worldwide Handsome’ is a joke I like to make for laughs,” Jin said during an interview with Vogue Korea. Jin even mentioned his handsome face while visiting a news station in Korea.

BTS’ Jin noticed his ‘handsome face’ during 1 Bangtan Bomb posted to YouTube

During one Bangtan Bomb, ARMYs saw these idols appear on a news broadcast. Before recording their segment, the performers got their hair and makeup done, with Jin wandering off to look at a collection of pictures featuring the BTS members.

“We’ve lived a good life so far,” Jin said according to a translation on the YouTube video. “Looking at this, we’ve done so much. Handsome Seokjin everywhere.”

Some pictures included on the screen were from their “On,” “Permission to Dance,” and “Butter” photoshoots. There were also projections of their album covers, the final one being their 2020 release Be (Deluxe Edition).

With over seven years since BTS’ debut, these idols embarked on several unique and exciting endeavors. The boy band performed at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. They earned several Grammy Award nominations and performed in Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

Recently, this K-pop group enjoyed a resident at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. There, they performed in person for hundreds of ARMYs for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.

BTS’ Jin released songs like ‘Super Tuna’ and ‘Abyss’

Several BTS members also worked on solo music. That includes Mr. Worldwide Handsome, who premiered songs like “Super Tuna” and “Abyss” to YouTube.

“Because BTS’ tracks are made by seven people coming together as one, we can’t adjust the key or interpretation of a song to suit just one member,” Jin said during an interview with GQ Magazine. “But it’s possible in a solo track. The production and style are tailored to me.”

In conjunction with the boy band, Jin recorded the solo song “Moon” for Map of the Soul: 7 and even co-wrote the group track “Stay” from Be (Deluxe Edition). Of course, Jin isn’t the only BTS member known for his looks. V was named one of “The Hottest Men of 2020.”
