Jungkook posted a photo on Weverse

Jungkook’s posts just hit different in the BTS fandom. It does not matter what time of day Jungkook posts, and it also does not matter what platform. No matter the time and place, Jungkook is going to trend on Twitter whenever he is online.

In this particular case, the BTS singer posted a selfie on Weverse and told fans that he just finished reading a book.

“I’ll use the day in a manner that’s not wasteful I just smashed through a book! (To think that I would [read] a book…),” he wrote according to a fan translation.

BTS fans trended ‘JUNGKOOK’ on Twitter

As soon as Jungkook posted on Weverse, BTS fans trended his name on Twitter because so many people were talking about him.

“the way jungkook always lets us know what he’s doing like in the fc gcs where he’d go ‘im about to go to the dorm!! what are you doing?’ ‘i’m about to eat dinner, did you have dinner? what are you eating?’ on weverse like ‘i just read a book !! you?’ like pls he’s so precious :(,” another fan tweeted.

He frequently trends on Twitter

This is not the first time Jungkook has trended on Twitter due to his posts. In fact, the singer trending is pretty much the norm on social media. In August 2019, he posted on Weverse just after 3 a.m. KST and wrote multiple posts about playing Overwatch and eating rameyeon. After he posted, Weverse crashed, and then “Weverse” trended on Twitter as fans talked about him crashing the app.

In April 2020, the BTS singer posted a surprise selfie of himself in the backseat of a car on Weverse. The photo inspired multiple trends on Twitter ranging from “JUNGKOOK POSTED” to “HE CAME HOME.”

Jungkook released a song for 2020 BTS FESTA

Every June, BTS puts on BTS FESTA, a two-week-long event where they celebrate their debut anniversary and their fan base, ARMY. The annual event began in 2014. To commemorate their debut and make it special for fans, BTS releases new content like exclusive photos, new songs, and special music videos.

This year, Jungkook was the member who released a new song for BTS FESTA. The singer released “Still With You,” a ballad he produced along with Big Hit Entertainment’s Pdogg. The song was a hit with fans, and made ARMY even more excited for more solo work from Jungkook.
