BTS: Jungkook Wows Fans With a New Mirror Selfie
Every BTS fan knows that when Jungkook posts a photo, the internet comes to a full stop. On April 11, the BTS singer posted a new mirror selfie on the band members’ shared Twitter account. After Jungkook posted the photo, ARMY reacted on social media.
Jungkook posted a new photo on BTS’ Twitter account
Since the start of 2021, Jungkook has been more active on Twitter and shared multiple selfies. He showed off his blonde hair in a selfie in January, and on Feb. 23, the singer revealed that he dyed his hair blue.
HYBE recently acquired Scooter Braun’s company Ithaca Holdings. In a YouTube video titled “HYBE x Ithaca Holdings,” artists managed by both companies released congratulatory video messages. In BTS’ video message, J-Hope, RM, and Jungkook revealed they have silver hair.
Jungkook’s silver hair was once again on display in his new selfie on Twitter. In the photo, Jungkook wears a black knit hat while a strand of his silver hair falls over his face.
BTS fans reacted to Jungkook’s new photo
After Jungkook posted the selfie on BTS’ Twitter account, fans shared their thoughts about the photo on social media. The singer’s name also trended on Twitter due to the number of people tweeting about the photo.
“it’s the little strand of silver-blonde hair for me,” wrote a Reddit user.
“Can tell I’m on high alert for something dropping at the minute the way I momentarily panic seeing new posts lmao,” one fan wrote on Reddit. “JK though, I have no words for the man these days. Something about him this year is hitting hard. Oooooft.”
Another fan wrote on Reddit, “He’s going to be the death of me. This year JK has been wrecking me HARD and how am I supposed to stay loyal to my bias when he looks like that!”

The BTS singer is working on a mixtape
In 2019, Jungkook revealed his plans to one day release a solo mixtape. Since then, BTS fans have been anxiously awaiting the release of the mixtape, affectionately known to fans as JJK1 until Jungkook reveals its title.
In a video segment called “BE-hind Story” on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel, the members of BTS interviewed one another about their work on their 2020 album BE and their future goals.
J-Hope interviewed Jungkook for “BE-Hind Story.” During their interview, J-Hope asked Jungkook about his future plans with music. Jungkook shared that while he typically uses his own life experience as inspiration, he wants to begin writing songs about “imaginary scenarios.”
The BTS singer also shared what fans can expect from his upcoming mixtape.
“There are three main tracks in total and they all have music video of its own,” Jungkook said. “And they each have its own choreography but in different styles.”
