Is BTS’ McDonald’s Meal Coming to the UK and Canada?

This K-pop group collaborated with brands like Samsung, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, and recently, McDonald’s. Although BTS’ McDonald’s Meal will be available to fans across the globe, it won’t be available in every country.

Here’s what we know about its release date in the United States and Canada. 

BTS is releasing their own meal with the fast-food chain, McDonald’s

They’re one of the biggest boy bands in the world, collaborating with some of the world’s biggest brands. Most recently, that included McDonald’s. Favorite menu items of the K-pop group will be available for fans to purchase as the official “BTS Meal.”

“BTS truly lights up the world stage, uniting people across the globe through their music,” said Morgan Flatley, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s USA in a statement. “We’re excited to bring customers even closer to their beloved band in a way only McDonald’s can – through our delicious food – when we introduce the BTS signature order on our menu next month.”

This fast-food chain will bring the BTS meal to the United States, Canada, and the UK

This meal will be available in almost 50 countries. According to a post on Twitter, the BTS meal releases on different dates depending on the global location.

In the United States, it will be available for purchase starting on May 26. In Canada, this meal will be available starting on the same date — May 26. Unfortunately, this meal will not be available in the UK.

This wouldn’t be the first time a BTS collaboration became available to fans across the globe. The boy band created their own characters in conjunction with Line Friends, which became available as BT21 to fans across the globe. 

Some collaborations with BTS became available to fans only in South Korea. That includes the boy band’s collaboration with Starbucks, complete with treats and purple drinkware.

What is included in the BTS McDonald’s meal?

Although there are small changes, the BTS McDonald’s meal is mostly the same in every country. This meal will feature the seven members’ favorite orders, including a 10 piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, and a medium drink. 

The BTS Meal also features two dipping sauces new to United States customers, inspired by McDonald’s South Korea recipes — Sweet Chili and Cajun.

This meal is expected to stay on the menu for several weeks, with content debutting on social media throughout May and June. That includes the “Behind the Sauce: Making of Film,” which premieres on June 18.

The “Life Goes On” music video by BTS is now available for streaming on YouTube. The K-pop group’s deluxe album, titled Be, is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms.
