On Nov. 27, Nov. 28, Dec. 1, and Dec. 2, BTS held four concerts called Permission to Dance On Stage – LA at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The shows were the band’s first in-person concerts since 2019, and all four concerts were sold out. For fans worried about seeing BTS live again in the future, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook of BTS will put on more Permission to Dance On Stage concerts in 2022.

BTS will hold ‘Permission to Dance On Stage’ concerts in Seoul in 2022

The last concert of Permission to Dance On Stage – LA occurred on Dec. 2. Immediately after the concert ended, BTS announced their plans to bring Permission to Dance On Stage to Seoul.

On BTS’ official Twitter account through Big Hit Music, a video was shared announcing the upcoming Seoul concerts.

“See you in Seoul, MARCH 2022 #PTD_ON_STAGE_SEOUL#PermissiontoDance#BTSCONCERT#BTS#방탄소년단,” reads the tweet.

In the video, the BTS members pose on an orange stage. The screen then turns orange, and text on the screen reads, “See you in Seoul, March 2022.”

BTS are currently taking a vacation

The day after Permission to Dance On Stage – LA concluded, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook performed at 2021 KIIS-FM Jingle Ball on Dec. 3. Following the performances, Big Hit Music announced that BTS plan to take a vacation for the holidays.

In the statement, Big Hit Music wrote:

“We would like to inform you that BTS is planning to take a second official extended period of rest since their first in 2019 after they complete their official scheduled events of ‘BTS Permission To Dance On Stage- LA’ and the ‘2021 Jingle Ball Tour.

BTS stayed active in order to engage with fans in 2020 and 2021 amidst the COVID-19 situation, and achieved dazzling results to cement themselves as top global artists.

This period of rest will provide the members of BTS who have tirelessly committed themselves to their activities, a chance to get re-inspired and recharge with creative energy. It will also be the first time for them since their debut to spend the holiday season with their families. We kindly ask once again that you show consideration for their need to enjoy ordinary and free, everyday lives while solely concentrating on themselves, albeit for a short while, during their period of rest.”

The band will release a new album in 2022

In Big Hit Music’s statement, it was revealed that in addition to holding the Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul concerts, BTS will release an album in 2022.

“BTS will be focusing on preparing for the concert and release of the new album that will mark the beginning of a ‘new chapter,'” Big Hit Music wrote. “They are preparing for a concert this coming March to connect and communicate with the fans in-person in Seoul.”

More details about BTS’ upcoming album and Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul concerts will be released at a later date.
