BTS: V Complimented Jimin’s Thighs on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’
On Nov. 23, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook of BTS appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden. During the talk show appearance, BTS discussed their recent Grammy Award nomination and their Permission to Dance On Stage – LA concerts. While on The Late Late Show with James Corden, V took the time to compliment Jimin’s thighs.
James Corden interviewed the members of BTS
Toward the end of the interview on The Late Late Show, James Corden brought up Jimin’s physique and asked if the BTS singer had been working out.
“Is it just me, and you tell me if he’s not going to tell me the truth, I feel like the Baby Mochi has been hitting the gym. Is this true?” Corden asked Jimin.
When Corden asked this, Jimin blushed and started laughing. Corden went on to explain that for a filmed sketch earlier that day, he carried Jimin which made him curious.
“I thought, ‘My boy’s been working out,'” Corden said. “Is this true? Have you been in the gym?”
“Just running, climbing, stairs,” Jimin answered. “I like to exercise.”

At Corden’s encouragement, Jimin stood up and flexed while onstage at The Late Late Show. The crowd cheered as the BTS members and Corden laughed. V then stood up and began pointing at Jimin while speaking in Korean, and Corden asked RM what V said.
“V’s saying that you got to touch his thigh,” RM answered.
At this, V pointed at Jimin and gave a thumbs up to Corden.
“It’s so thick, like a concrete,” RM added.
Corden asked Jimin for permission and then poked the singer’s thigh.
“And that’s a piece of wood,” Corden said after poking Jimin. “That’s a piece of wood.”
V thinks the BTS members are closer now
BTS’ Permission to Dance On Stage – LA concerts are being held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Nov. 27, Nov. 28, Dec. 1, and Dec. 2.
On The Late Late Show, Corden asked the BTS members if any of them still had nerves while performing. Jungkook admitted he felt “nervous” while filming sketches and performing for the late-night talk show.
“I was nervous today,” Jungkook said. “It’s been over two years since we last saw our fans. It’s been a long time so I’ve become very nervous.”
Corden told the members that he thought they seemed closer than ever, and V agreed with the talk show host.
“I spent a lot of time together with the members,” V told Corden. “For example, the seven of us would shoot some content together. We lived more like entertainers than singers. It really made us work together even better.”
