OnlyFans is a social media platform in which users can earn money off from their content as opposed to giving it away for free. The platform has several different membership options where fans can pay for content on a monthly basis. Aside from this, users can also sign-up and pay for multiple months at a time instead of a monthly basis. Pay-per-view content can also be established by creators and they can get tips from fans either in general or on specific posts.

It was initially popularized by sex workers and NSFW content, celebrities and influences have used OnlyFans to post exclusive, safe-for-work content and charge for it.

Winbush announced her OnlyFans in February, writing:

“Yes, you heard that right. I have joined OF! But I’m doing it my way*- I’ll be saying the things I really want to say, singin’ & dancing, and sharing exclusive content. But don’t think it’s just for the men. I’m finally dropping the skin care routine, I’ll be doing regular live sessions with Q&A’s, special guests, and most importantly- I’ll be able to talk to and connect with you one on one. I want to hear from you so come thru! -CandidlyCam (Link in bio)”

Camille Winbush initially faced backlash for Only Fans

When she first posted about OnlyFans, Winbush clarified that it would not have explicit content. She explained, “*My way = minimal nudity. So if that’s what you’re expecting sorry not sorry to disappoint.” Despite clarifying this, the actror began to face backlash in her comments, with people questioning why she has an OnlyFans.

“I made the mistake of reading comments about my ‘fan’ announcement,” she said on Instagram in part. “Overall, the majority were supportive and I appreciate that. I really do. But I’m human and of course the ones that stick out to me were the negatives. So let me be clear – I am not broke or desperate for money.”

She also responded to people saying Bernie Mac would not approve of her having an OnlyFans and that she should ask Tyler Perry for a job. “Bernie, God rest his soul, is not turning over in his grave. STOP saying that. Even if meant as a joke, it is far from funny,” she added. “I do not need to call Tyler Perry for a job. I’m not spending thousands of dollars on school to get a degree so that I can get a ‘real job’, whatever that means. I will not now, or ever be doing porn.”

Camille Winbush’s latest comments about her OnlyFans

In a new selfie she posted to Instagram, Winbush addressed people who have made remarks about her decision to start an OnlyFans.

“A friendly reminder that my worth as a human being is not measured by the pictures I take, the length of my resume, and the judgments of strangers,” she said in the caption. “Be safe. Be kind. Be human.”

In her comments, many people applauded Winbush and told her to continue to do what she wants.
