The cast members of Big Brother 23 are back to their normal lives. That includes Azah Awasum, who placed third in the season. Showbiz Cheat Sheet talked to Awasum in a phone interview on Oct. 28. She is a big fan of Celebrity Big Brother and revealed who she wants to see in the cast for season 3.

‘Celebrity Big Brother 3’ is coming soon

The first season of Celebrity Big Brother took place in 2018, and Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur won. The second season aired the next year, and singer and reality star Tamar Braxton won.

The spinoff took a longer break, and it almost looked like it wasn’t coming back. But CBS has officially announced it’s coming back for a third season.

The press announcement claimed the season will air in the winter of 2022. According to Parade, Thom Sherman, Senior Executive Vice President, Programming, CBS Entertainment, then revealed it’ll air in February during the Winter Olympics.

It’s still unknown how long the season will last. But the celebrity version of the show tends to be shorter. The previous seasons lasted 26 and 29 days.

Awasum placed third on Big Brother 23. She was a fan of Celebrity Big Brother before doing the season and revealed who she wants to see next season.

“I’d love to see Kenya Moore do it,” Awasum told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “I found out about Big Brother through Celebrity Big Brother when Kandi [Burruss] did it. That’s how I got into the show. So I would love to see Kenya Moore and see how she would do.”

Both celebrities are on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Burruss placed fifth on Celebrity Big Brother 2. So it doesn’t look like Moore would be impossible to cast, but she has also recently competed on another show.

Bravo stars also get cast on Dancing with the Stars. Moore was on season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. Her dance partner was Brandon Armstrong.

They were sadly eliminated during “Horror Night.” She wrote in an Instagram post, “What an amazing experience- a dream I’ve have for 16 years when I would watch @dancingabc with my Grandmother Doris who I lost to Alzheimer’s in 2017.” Moore went on to thank people involved in the show.

It’s probably unlikely Moore would do another reality show so quickly after Dancing with the Stars. But fans are still able to have hope until the cast for Celebrity Big Brother 3 is revealed.
