NBC One Chicago fans are excited to see how Chicago Fire Season 10 concludes. So far, we’ve seen major cast changes, the start of new romances, and the return of the almighty Stella Kidd. So, is Chicago Fire Season 10 new tonight, Feb. 2, 2022? And when does the show return in earnest this year? Here’s everything to know about the One Chicago schedule.

Fans looking forward to a new episode of Chicago Fire Season 10 will have to wait. The show is not new tonight, Feb. 2, 2022, though NBC will air a rerun in its place. According to the NBC schedule, Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 4, “The Right Thing,” will air instead of a new episode.

According to IMDb, the episode synopsis for episode 4 reads, “Kidd spreads her wings as a lieutenant. Chief Hawkins rides with Ambulance 61 to learn more about Brett. Casey takes a trip out of town. A Ritter date night turns into an emergency situation.”

Chicago Fire isn’t the only One Chicago show to have a rerun on Feb. 2, either. Both Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. will not air new episodes until after the sustained February break.

So, when does Chicago Fire return? Chicago Fire Season 10 will air new episodes on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, according to One Chicago Center. It seems like the February break will be the final major break in the season, too. NBC viewers can watch the Winter Olympics on the network from Feb. 4, 2022, to Feb. 20, 2022.

What can fans expect from Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 13? In episode 12, Jason Pelham went through severe difficulties in his new position as lieutenant, putting his role in jeopardy. Additionally, Stella Kidd stepped in to help Pelham — but she noted she wasn’t gunning for his position. Kidd assisted Pelham in getting him off his suspicion and giving him his job back, strengthening their new bond.

In episode 13, we expect to see Pelham reenter the workforce with renewed confidence. Also, Kidd and Kelly Severide patched up their relationship, and their engagement is on.

Violet Mikami and Chief Hawkins also kissed in front of the other firefighters, which will surely backfire on them. Viewers will have to wait until episode 13 to see the fallout for Violet and Hawkins.

Will the show have another season?

Will Chicago Fire have a season 11? NBC hasn’t said much about Chicago Fire Season 11, but One Chicago Center reports NBC renewed the series for 2022 through 2023. This means fans are ensured at least one more season beyond season 10.

Back in 2020, NBC gave Chicago Fire a three-season renewal contract to keep the show going through seasons 9, 10, and 11. The 11th season marks the final one of the contract, so we’ll have to wait and see what NBC decides to do after the 11th season concludes.

We’ll be interested to see how the rest of season 10 progresses — and who returns for season 11!
