Though Chris Hemsworth has taken on a few dramatic roles in his career, he’s pretty much solidified himself as an action star.

It’s hard for people to stop referring to him as Thor and his turn as Tyler Rake in Extraction just earned him a People’s Choice Award. When he’s not a hammer-wielding Marvel god, gun-toting mercenary, or huntsman, Hemsworth is down for a good superhero roast.

That’s exactly what he received from a fellow Avenger and her squad of sharp-witted teammates—all in the name of charity.

Chris Hemsworth part of Russo Brothers’ charity league

In 2019, Anthony and Joe Russo of Avengers fame launched their fantasy football league via their AGBO production company. Made up of your favorite stars from the Marvel universe, the AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football Charity League plays for a good cause—but trash talking is required.

This year, the group teamed up with FanDuel for their mission. Players include Chris Hemsworth, Pom Klementieff, Ryan Reynolds, Simu Liu, Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Chris Evans, Karen Gillan, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, ESPN’s Matthew Berry, and Team Russo.

In September, the Russo brothers announced their plans to donate $250,000 in honor of Black Panther’s Chadwick Boseman, no matter who wins the competition.

Klementieff chews up Hemsworth with ‘Mission Impossible’ cohorts

Rolling into week 10, Hemsworth is facing off against Klementieff, and she just elevated talking smack to a new level. Not even Mjolnir can help him.

Klementieff—who plays Mantis in the MCU—recruited her Mission Impossible co-star Simon Pegg to pen a diss song in French titled, “Au Revoir, Chris Hemsworth.”

Lyrically, it delivers verbal jabs aimed at Hemsworth and his teeny tiny hammer, Falcon’s skills, Ryan Reynolds’ acting credits, and Tom Holland’s stature. The entire production manages to be remarkably clean and dirty at the same time.

Blink and you’ll miss hilarious one-liners comparing the god of thunder to a light drizzle and threats that Klementieff will send him home to his mama.

At the end of the video, Mission Impossible’s Tom Cruise, Pegg, and Elizabeth Ferguson show up for a stare-down that will have Thor—erm, Hemsworth—shaking in his boots.

On a side note, Klementieff is playing for Time’s Up while Hemsworth’s charity is the Australian Childhood Foundation. He is last year’s champion.

Paul Rudd, Simu Liu made an impression with their trash talk too

Prior to Klementieff’s artistic burn, Paul Rudd went after Robert Downey Jr. with a Black Sabbath cover of “Iron Man.” Deemed one of the best taunts in this year’s fantasy tournament, Rudd’s performance included a nice-nasty warning: “I love you 3000, but you’re gonna lose to an ant.”

During week 9, Liu showed off his rap skills by dropping bars about Reynolds in a Canadian-versus-Canadian beef. Green Lantern and Pikachu were not off limits.

Currently, Reynold’s team is in the lead, followed by Liu in second place and then Evans. The contest concludes after week 13, and it’s anyone’s game. Fans can keep up on the league’s Instagram or Twitter accounts.
