The first weekend of Coachella 2022 took place on April 15, April 16, and April 17. The second weekend will kick off on April 22, and it will continue on April 23 and April 24.

After KARINA, WINTER, GISELLE, and NINGNING published cryptic posts on aespa’s Instagram story, it was confirmed the quartet will perform during the second weekend of Coachella 2022.

According to a press release, aespa are poised to perform an “explosive set on the main stage.”

What the members of aespa think about their upcoming performance

aespa debuted in 2020 under SM Entertainment. Their upcoming performance at Coachella will be aespa’s first live concert performance in the U.S.

In a recent interview with Billboard, KARINA, WINTER, GISELLE, and NINGNING shared their thoughts about their upcoming Coachella appearance.

“Truthfully, we don’t have much experience performing live in front of an audience since we debuted during the pandemic, so the thought of performing in front of a large audience at Coachella, which is the dream stage for many artists, made me feel very nervous,” KARINA told Billboard.

She continued, “We didn’t have many opportunities to showcase our performances in person, so we are incredibly excited and looking forward to performing our music live to the audience and delivering positive energy to the crowd.”
