The holiday celebration continues at Hallmark Channel. The final nine movies in the “Countdown to Christmas” lineup air in December, including a pair of films starring sisters Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Ashley Williams and a Hanukkah-themed flick, as well as the sequel to 2020’s The Christmas House

‘Eight Gifts of Hanukkah’ airs Dec. 3 on Hallmark Channel 

Hallmark has aired movies that touched on Hanukkah in the past, but Eight Gifts of Hanukkah is the first that focuses solely on the Jewish holiday. Inbar Lavi plays a woman named Sara Levin who starts receiving Hanukkah gifts from a secret admirer. As she tries to figure out who is sending her presents, she learns her true love might be someone she never expected. Jake Epstein co-stars. Premieres Friday, Dec. 3. 

‘A Very Merry Bridesmaid’

Emily Osment and Casey Deidrick star in A Very Merry Bridesmaid, which premieres Saturday, Dec. 4. Osment plays Leah, who is celebrating her milestone 30th birthday on Christmas Eve. But her special day is overshadowed by her brother’s wedding. However, the return of her childhood crush Drew (Deidrick) may be the unexpected development she needs to change her life. 

The ‘Sister Swap’ movies air Dec. 5 and Dec. 12

This year, real-life sisters Ashley Williams and Kimberly Williams-Paisley team up for two interconnected Hallmark Channel Christmas movies. In Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday (airing Dec. 5) and Sister Swap: Christmas in the City (airing Dec. 12), small-town Meg (Williams) and big-city restaurant owner Jennifer (Williams-Paisley) decide to trade towns just before Christmas. Once in a new place, each sister discovers new possibilities — and new romance.   

‘A Dickens of a Holiday!’ 

Cassie (Brooke D’Orsay) is determined to make the 100th anniversary of her town’s Victorian festival success. In order to pull off a memorable celebration, she invites her former high school classmate turned movie star Jake (Kristoffer Polaha) to play Scrooge in a production of A Christmas Carol. A Dickens of a Holiday! airs Friday, Dec. 10. 

‘A Royal Queens Christmas’ 

Julian Morris plays a prince who finds himself in Queens during the Christmas season. Once there, he meets a local woman (Megan Park) who persuades him to help with a children’s Christmas show. A Royal Queens Christmas airs Saturday, Dec. 11.   

‘Sugar Plum Twist’

Hallmark Movies Now subscribers can watch Sugar Plum Twist beginning Dec. 2. Those who haven’t signed up for the streaming service can catch it on Friday, Dec. 17 on Hallmark Channel. When Vivíana Serrano (Laura Rosguer) doesn’t land the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in this year’s production of The Nutcracker, she teams up with retired ballerina Natalia (Jamie Gray Hyder) and lighting designer Mateo (Ektor Rivera) to create a new version of the Christmas ballet that draws on her Latin dance training. 

‘The Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls’

The Mitchell family is back on Hallmark Channel. In the sequel to the 2020 movie The Christmas House, brothers Mike (Robert Buckley) and Brandon (Jonathan Bennett) compete to see who can create the best Christmas house. Ana Ayora, Sharon Lawrence, Treat Williams, and Brad Harder also reprise their roles from the original movie. 

‘Countdown to Christmas’ ends with ‘‘Tis the Season to Be Merry’ 

Hallmark Channel closes out this year’s “Countdown to Christmas” with ‘Tis the Season to Be Merry, which stars Rachael Leigh Cook, Travis Van Winkle, and Karen Malina White. Merry is an author who heads to Vermont in search of a fresh angle for her book on relationships. Soon after she arrives, she finds a new perspective and some Christmas cheer with an aid worker named Chris. 

All movies air at 8 p.m. ET.
