Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald have lived in their two-bedroom home for six years

Fans have long wondered how the Duggar kids afford their homes. It’s been largely speculated that Jim Bob Duggar gifts homes to his children after they’re married, though nothing has been confirmed.

Duggar and Seewald moved into their two-bedroom home back in 2014; the home was purchased in 2007, seemingly by Jim Bob and Michelle, since none of their kids had wed yet. And when the two gave a house tour of the 1,000-square-foot space, fans realized the couple needs a bigger home to better accommodate their growing family.

Duggar’s recent photo had fans obsessing over her living room

Duggar often posts photos of her kids playing, and she recently captured a sweet moment of Spurgeon and Henry playing with pots and pans in her living room. Though fans loved the brotherly bonding, it was Duggar’s living room that caught their attention. Throughout the comments, people were asking where Duggar purchased the various décor pieces.

“Where did you get your rug? I love the pattern!” someone wrote. “Love your wall color! What is it?” another person asked. “Where did you get your white rocking chair?” another fan questioned. One user also asked Duggar about her rug’s size. She answered the comments, revealing that her rug and rocking chair are from Amazon, and her walls are painted Revere Pewter. The rug received the most attention from fans.

Fans have criticized Duggar for not keeping up with her home

Duggar might be a stay-at-home mom, but with three kids, she doesn’t have all the time in the world to keep things clean. Still, fans have called her out on not keeping up with her home. In the couple’s February house tour, people noticed Duggar and Seewald had never taken down their Christmas tree. There was also a clogged toilet, and Duggar admitted in the past that she’s not one to fold her laundry just after it’s been cleaned, either.

Will Duggar and Seewald move before having another baby?

Duggar and Seewald recently spoke with Us Weekly about potentially adopting their next child, and though fans would love to see the two expand their family (Duggar has been speaking about adoption for years), it seems the couple might need to upgrade their home first. Three kids in a two-bedroom is likely already tight, but squeezing four in could be more difficult.

Regardless of whether Duggar and Seewald go through with adoption, they likely aren’t done expanding their family. Duggar once joked about having more kids than her mother, so it seems they’ll welcome at least a few more little ones.
