Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo have become quite the pair of foodies. Since moving to Los Angeles in the summer of 2019, the Counting On couple has kept themselves busy exploring the city’s restaurant scene. They often document their dining adventures on Instagram, and their frequent updates about their meals out have some fans wondering if Jinger and Jeremy ever have a quiet dinner at home.

Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo love trying new restaurants

Los Angeles has been ranked as one of the best foodie cities in the U.S. Since arriving in the city, Jinger and Jeremy have been taking full advantage of the many amazing restaurants in the region. The pair have chowed down on Nashville hot chicken at Howlin’ Ray’s, where diners sometimes wait hours to get a sandwich, enjoyed gourmet ice cream at McConnell’s and Salt & Straw, and sampled coffee at Verve Coffee Roasters. Jeremy has posted about exploring “the underground L.A. food scene.” He’s even munched on insects, recently taking a bite of silkworm pupae, as he shared on his Instagram Story.

Some fans have wondered if they ever eat at home

Jinger and Jeremy post so much about eating out that some of their followers have wondered if the couple ever has a quiet meal at home with their 1-year-old daughter Felicity.

“Do you guys ever eat at home,” wondered one commenter on a post from Jeremy that showed him and his wife dining out.

“You all eat out a lot!” another observed on one of Jinger’s post, which showed her eating at Fortune Gourmet Kitchen in L.A.

Jinger has also posted about cooking

While Jinger and Jeremy clearly enjoy eating out, they also seem to appreciate a good meal at home. Jinger sometimes shares photos of her culinary creations, like the buffalo pancetta Brussels sprouts she whipped up the other day. That dish looked so tasty that her followers were begging her to share the recipe — and perhaps even write a cookbook. She’s also shared a baking tutorial, showing people how to make her family’s favorite yeast rolls, as well as a recipe for pumpkin spice muffins.

Fans are happy to see Jinger embrace different kinds of food

The Duggar family has been slammed in the past for eating bland food that’s heavy on canned and processed ingredients. But Jinger seems to have ditched some of her family’s less-appetizing looking dishes (like her dad Jim Bob’s notorious barbecue tuna) for meals made with fresh ingredients. In addition to her pan-fried Brussels sprouts, she’s showcased a quick and easy kale-and-egg breakfast dish that fans thought looked amazing.

When Jinger and Jeremy do eat out, they aren’t afraid to try something new. When the couple still lived in Laredo, Texas, they ate grasshopper tacos. And when she tried the Nashville hot chicken, one follower praised her for not being “a spice wimp.” Back in August, Jeremy tried a poke burrito, as well as a Bombay tikka masala pizza. And with so many restaurants to choose from in L.A., we’re sure this couple will have plenty more to discover.
