Fans have been known to discuss the series on social media, and some fans recently participated in a Reddit poll regarding which of the team “would win” in a fight. We have the results.

On July 15, 2021, a fan posted a poll on Reddit titled, “In a fight who would win?” The options are Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), the boss Aaron Hotchner, or Hotch (Thomas Gibson), Technical Analyst Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), and Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster).
1,941 people participated in the poll, and the results are in. 988 people voted for Morgan, who won the poll by far. Next up is Hotch with 485 votes. Prentiss come in third with 347 votes. Reid has 64 votes and Garcia has 57 votes.
Other fans commented with their thoughts
A number of fans weighed in with their thoughts on the matter. Surprisingly, Hotch was mentioned the most in the comments. One fan chose Hotchner as the winner of “who would win” in a fight. He’s definitely skilled and knows how to defend himself.
“I feel like Morgan has a strength advantage but Hotch is more ruthless, so I went with Hotch,” they said.
Another fan tends to agree as well. “Same,” they said. “I struggled between the two because Morgan’s definitely the strongest but eventually went with Hotch because he’s willing to risk it all.”
Some fans also mentioned Morgan, who won the poll. “Hand to hand, no weapons, it’s between Morgan and Hotch, but my gut is telling me Morgan,” they said.
Some fans have complicated answers to the question
One fan has an interesting answer depending on the situation. “Is it just a fist fight?” they ask. “Or like a Hunger Games scenario? Fist fight goes to Morgan or Hotch. Battle royale goes to Reid. He’d build traps and make poisons and such.”
Another fan weighed in on Reid and Garcia’s plan of action in a fight scenario. “Reid and Garcia would go for the emotional sucker punch, make you feel so bad for yourself that you would back out,” a fan said. “Reid would do it through analytical facts, Garcia would just sass intimidate you.”
While yet another fan has an interesting a multiple part answer with different winners depending on the circumstances.
“Depending on the type of fight, all of them have their specialties,” a fan said. “Fight in a ring? Morgan. Street fight? Hotch. Intellectual/prepared fight? Reid. Internet fight? Garcia. Gun/weapon fight? Prentiss. They all have specialties and that’s what makes the team work well!”

A fan named Garcia as the winner because of Morgan. The two are the greatest of friends, and their friendship is an integral part of the show.
“Obviously Garcia, Morgan would take everyone out and give her the win,” they said.
