A timeline of DaBaby and DaniLeigh relationship rumors

DaBaby and DaniLeigh had been romantically linked for several months. The rumors can be traced back to their multiple collaborations. First off, DaniLeigh co-choreographed DaBaby’s “Bop” music video. After this, DaBaby was featured on DaniLeigh’s single, “Levi High.”

Rumors about the pair continued, mostly when MeMe, the other of DaBaby’s daughter, continued to say things about them being an item on Twitter. This sparked a lot of issues between DaniLeigh and Meme on social media, thought DaniLeigh would stop short of confirming she and DaBaby were together.

The two continued to not say anything, but fans still speculated as they appeared together in public during the coronvirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Some fans also though they could be quarantined together due to similar photos they took.

DaniLeigh made her most direct statements about the rumors of her dating DaBaby an interview with Power 105.1. “I mean it is what it is,” she said in part. “I already know you post something, people just gon’ catch on I guess, so…I don’t really care.”

DaniLeigh alludes to the relationship on Twitter

Recently, DaniLeigh made a cryptic post on her Instagram, leading people to think that she and DaBaby had split. Still, she never confirmed that she was talking about the rapper. However, even if they may be over now, in a series of tweets, DaniLeigh does heavily allude to the fact that she and DaBaby were together.

When a fan tweeted that no one should have an issue with DaBaby and DaniLeigh being together because he wasn’t with MeMe at the time, DaniLeigh responded. She said, “But idc to explain to anyone in the world cause I really don’t owe y’all nothing. The world has more hate and would rather me be a woman that started something with someone that was ‘already in a relationship’ so idc at all.”

Now, DaBaby confirmed their relationship in a song

Now, following DaniLeigh’s tweets, in a new song, DaBaby draws attention to his relationship with the singer. The song, titled “Go,” is on the newly-released deluxe edition of Blame it on Baby. In the song, DaBaby raps, “R&B freak, I try to f**k her every day/Curly-haired jiggy b***h, it might be DaniLeigh.” He then acknowledges the fact that the lyric will be talked about, going on to rap, “Oooh, did he just say that? You probably need to play back.”
