‘Double Shot at Love’ Season 3 Is Coming; Here’s What to Expect From DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino
Good news, Double Shot at Love fans! The MTV reality series isn’t over. DJ Pauly D recently announced Double Shot at Love Season 3 on social media. Here’s what fans can expect to see from Vinny Guadagnino and Pauly DelVecchio in Double Shot at Love Season 3.
Fans weren’t expecting another season of the MTV dating show
In January 2021, Antonio Locke — also known as “Pool Party Papi” — caused rumors to start flying when he shared a photo on Instagram. The image showed Locke holding a camera on co-star Nicky Curd and a security guard in the background. This had many fans thinking they were filming.
Eventually, fans figured out the photo was a throwback. But Double Shot at Love fans became even more discouraged when they discovered the show’s Wikipedia page dates.
“[The] release date says April 11, 2019-October 8, 2020 instead of April 11, 2019-present,” a fan on Reddit said. “On MTV’s original programming list, Double Shot at Love is on the list of former programs instead of current programs.”
‘Double Shot at Love’ Season 3 is confirmed and will focus on Vinny Guadagnino
After learning of the show’s Wikipedia page, many thought it was time to move on. But now, Double Shot at Love Season 3 has been confirmed.
Since Pauly DelVecchio found love with Nikki Hall in season 2, season 3 will be all about hooking Vinny Guadagnino up. “DJ Pauly D and Vinny will be back to find the perfect match for the latter,” MTV said. “You know what they say: Third time’s a charm!”
DelVecchio and Hall will guide Guadagnino through the process of “finding his own happiness.” Their “insider’s perspective” will help Guadagnino understand what it’s like to find a partner on a reality dating show. A release date for Double Shot at Love Season 3 is unclear, but MTV says it will premiere “later this year.”
Will the ‘Double Shot at Love’ Season 2 cast return?
Since the show is about Guadagnino finding a girlfriend, it’s unlikely the Double Shot at Love Season 2 cast will be a big part of the new season. However, that doesn’t mean Derynn Paige, Brittani “B-Lashes” Schwartz, Locke, Curd, or any of the other roommates can’t show up for a guest appearance.
MTV fans know they can expect at least a few guest stars, especially in shows involving DelVecchio and Guadagnino. Who knows — some of the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation roommates might show up, too!

Producer SallyAnn Salsano and her company 495 Productions are the masterminds behind shows like Jersey Shore and Floribama Shore. Her crews worked on the latest season with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in mind.
Salsano is essentially a professional at filming during COVID at this point. She worked on season 4 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation and Floribama Shore during the pandemic, too.
“Because of the frequency of the testing schedule, it was annoying, but no one was at risk,” Salsano told Deadline. “That was because of the amount of support and resources that came to us.”
