Forget the Duggars and the Busbys. TLC viewers may have a new favorite family. Deon and Karen Derrico are a Las Vegas couple with 14 kids, including multiple sets of multiples — all conceived naturally. On August 11, the first episode of their new reality show, Doubling Down With the Derricos, aired, and it seems like they already have some loyal fans.

The Derricos have quintuplets, triplets, and two sets of twins

When we meet Deon and Karen in the first episode, they are the proud parents of 11 kids, ranging in age from 2 to 14. Plus, Karen is pregnant with triplets, which means they’re about to become a family of 16. (The triplets were born in 2019.)

The Derricos always knew they wanted to have a large family, but they weren’t excepting to have 14. However, both Karen and Deon come from families with a history of multiples. Once they started having kids, their family just kept growing, all without the help of fertility treatments. Though having so many children can be a bit crazy at times, the Derricos embrace the chaos.

‘Doubling Down With the Derricos’ already has some big fans

There is no shortage of big families on TLC, but the Derricos seem to have struck a chord with people. On an Instagram post promoting the new show, many people commented on how much they loved the family.

“I think they are a family filled with so much love and happiness and I can’t wait to see more of them,” one person wrote.

Many people commented on how cute and smart the Derrico kids were and noted the family’s loving, caring vibe, as well as their patience in dealing with their kids.

“I love their love for another and their faith,” another person commented. “God is good. This family has been blessed. Can’t wait till next week.”

Not everyone had a 100% positive reaction to the Derricos. A few slammed TLC, which also airs shows such as Sweet Home Sextuplets, Counting On, and OutDaughtered, for promoting yet another extra-large family.

On Facebook, a handful also wondered why the Derricos kept having kids. In the show’s premiere, viewers learned that Karen had experienced multiple miscarriages and spent a portion of her pregnancies on bed rest. They worried she was putting her health at risk by continuing to have children.

Some just wanted to know how the Derricos could afford to have so many kids.

“Like all the families on reality tv with extremely large families … I always wonder how they afford so many kids? It not just money, but kids require your time and attention,” one Instagram user asked.

Doubling Down With the Derricos airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on TLC.
