Drake Bell Dressed up as ‘Totally Kyle’ From ‘The Amanda Show’ and Fans Are Loving It
It may have been years since Drake Bell’s played the iconic Totally Kyle, but he just recently proved that he hasn’t lost his touched when channeling his The Amanda Show alter-ego.
The Nickelodeon alum recently served up some major nostalgia when he posted his own version of TikTok’s viral “Wipe It Down” challenge. Though the video was only a few seconds long, it instantly became iconic and nearly broke the Internet.
Bell paid homage to his Nickelodeon days
Bell is the latest celebrity to do the ‘Wipe It Down’ challenge, and according to fans, his is the best one they’ve seen thus far.
The video started off with the actor wearing a plain white shirt with his hair slicked back. After he sprayed the mirror and began wiping it clean as the song “Wipe It Down” played, Bell transformed into Totally Kyle, the beloved 2000s character, sporting a tie-dye t-shirt and a long wavy blonde wig.
For those of you who don’t know who Totally Kyle is, he was one of the most popular characters from Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show, which ran from 1999 to 2002.
Though he wasn’t the smartest laid-back hippie surfer, Kyle was loved by everyone as many found joy in watching him share the most lackluster stories that always made fans laugh out loud.

While it was great seeing Totally Kyle again, this wasn’t the first time Bell has revived the fan-favorite character on social media.
Earlier this month, the actor paid homage to Kyle by getting decked out in the character’s infamous threads and watching one of his old sketches in another hilarious TikTok video.
The actor has neven paid homage to his Drake & Josh character on the video-sharing platform by rewatching old episodes dressed as Drake Parker in one post and schooling fans on the correct lyrics to the show’s theme song in another.
Fans can’t get enough of Bell’s Totally Kyle transformation
After watching Bell transform into Totally Kyle in the viral “Wipe It Down” Challenge, of course, fans were thrilled that the actor brought this character back to life.
Since sharing his own spin of the challenge, fans have been going wild for the actor’s video, which is currently trending on Twitter.
“Drake Bell did the wipe it down challenge on TikTok. I am living for this,” one fan tweeted.
“Drake Bell [is] trending because he brought Totally Kyle back for the Wipe It challenge This is why he’s a legend,” another fan penned.
Some are going as far as to call the actor’s “Wipe It Down” challenge the best one they’ve seen, even though many celebrities have tried their hands at channeling their alter-egos on TikTok.

Now that we know Bell is still in tune with his Totally Kyle persona, maybe it’s time the character get his own spinoff show so fans can listen to his hilarious anecdotes on a constant loop?
