It’s not easy to keep up with everything the Duggars are up to. And Josiah and Lauren Duggar tend to drift away from the spotlight quite often. The two lovebirds have their own Instagram account where they keep their fans informed on what’s going on with their marriage and their daughter, Bella. But family critics have their own opinions about what’s really going on with their social media.

After Josiah appeared to post a loving tribute to his wife for their anniversary, many have questions. And family critics are convinced that Lauren is actually the one making the content that Josiah allegedly writes and posts.

Josiah Duggar’s wife, Lauren, has caused major controversy over the years

While Josiah doesn’t cause much talk amongst family critics, Lauren certainly does. She was just 18 years old when she and Josiah wed, and she was pregnant after just a few months into her marriage. Sadly, Lauren miscarried her first child — but it wasn’t long before the couple announced they were expecting once again. Now, Lauren and Josiah have a healthy baby girl, Bella, who was born in November 2019.

Now that Lauren is in the spotlight thanks to Counting On and Instagram, many think she’s really overdoing it. Some think she tries to steal the spotlight of her sisters-in-law, as she’s posted photos and videos that appear to mimic what Jessa Duggar’s posted. And others have called Lauren out for trying way too hard to show off her perfect life on Instagram with over-edited photos.

The couple posted a sweet message written by Josiah to their Instagram

On June 30, Josiah and Lauren’s Instagram posted two sweet photos of the couple kissing in some tall grass. And the caption explains that they’re celebrating their second wedding anniversary, though it’s in Josiah’s voice.

“Two years ago, today, I had the privilege of marrying the love of my life!” Josiah wrote. “It seems like yesterday, that the most beautiful girl in the whole world was walking down the aisle to begin our lifelong journey together.”

He then went into more detail regarding the day he knew he was in love with Lauren. “It was that, ‘you know, when you know,’ moment,” Josiah continued. “I instantly knew, somehow, someday, you would be my wife.”

The post got plenty of love from Duggar fans. Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna, also left a sweet comment. “Wishing the perfect pair a perfect day!” she wrote. “Happy 2nd Anniversary Si & Lauren!!!!!”

The anniversary post appears to be a sweet dedication to Lauren from Josiah, but family critics are skeptical that Josiah wrote it at all.

“Lauren is definitely posing as Siiiiiah and writing an anniversary post to herself … ’cause there’s not a chance in hell he actually wrote this,” a Reddit user wrote.

“Omg she DID write this, it’s so obvious and I’m getting second-hand embarrassment it actually hurts,” yet another added.

“If he did write this, which I highly doubt he did. It probably took him awhile,” another added.

Others think that if Josiah was the one to write this, it falls right in line with what other Duggar men have done in the past, as many other Duggars before him have written love letters to their wives or future wives.

“I actually think fundie men are trained to write saccharine sweet romantic prose like this because it’s meant to meet the romantic needs of their wives,” another Reddit user noted.

We’re sure there’s plenty more where this Instagram post came from. We look forward to hearing more about the couple’s romance in the future.
