According to Ed’s Bachelorette profile, the 36-year-old is a health care salesman from Miami, Florida. The ABC reality star has been single for the past year. But now, Ed’s in a good place “mentally and professionally.” So he can focus on the important things in life, like joining The Bachelorette to find his soulmate. Now, is that person Adams? Per his bio, Ed is looking for someone who is up for an adventure.

“He has a weakness for women who can joke around and be playful, and would love to find someone to enjoy one of his many aquatic hobbies with, like kayaking or paddle boarding,” the profile reads. “Ed hopes that this experience will produce the meaningful and loving relationship that he hasn’t quite yet experienced.”

Meanwhile, Bachelor Nation fans can find Ed on Instagram under the handle @ed.waisbrot. The salesman’s feed is filled with pics from his travels. So naturally, he’s been commenting on his Bachelorette experience, even poking fun at his lack of screentime.

Chris Harrison teases Ed Waisbrot’s story on ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 16

In case you need a refresher, Ed was the man in the bubble from The Bachelorette premiere. But now, even after the Crawley-Adams switch-up, Bachelor Nation fans haven’t seen much from the contestant. That said, Chris Harrison promised there’s more to Ed than meets the eye.

“Here’s the thing about Ed — don’t judge a book by its cover,” Harrison said in September 2020. “I’ll be honest. I did, and I said this guy’s a meat-head. There’s no substance. there’s nothing to him. I was wrong.”

The host continued, “He’s a great guy, very deep, very thoughtful, very interesting. The more we all got to know him, the more we really fell in love with Ed.”

Harrison also revealed he shared an awkward moment with Ed sometime during The Bachelorette Season 16.

“Awkwardly, I personally got to spend a lot of time with Ed,” Harrison said. “And so… I can speak for my awkward moment, he’s a really good guy.”
