In Elite Season 4, Guzmán (played by Miguel Bernardeau) left Spain to travel the world with his best friend Ander (Arón Piper). But, will Guzmán and Ander return to Las Encinas? While Piper’s return remains unknown, Bernardeau won’t return to the series. In July 2021, the actor announced that he wouldn’t return for the fifth season.

In a Twitter video, he said, “Hey, this is Miguel Bernardeau, and for those who have already watched the finale of Elite Season 4, I wanted to say goodbye and send you a big hug. Thank you to Netflix for giving us this opportunity, to the creators, and above all to Guzmán for teaching me that no matter where you are, it’s never too late to change. Goodbye.”

What should fans expect from the ‘Elite’ Season 5?

While the plot for Elite Season 5 remains under wraps, it’s hard to predict the narrative. Some fans speculate the next installment will center around the events that happened in the Season 4 finale.

To recap, Guzmán accidentally killed Armando (Andrés Velencoso) with a flare gun. After Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) and Rebe (Claudia Salas) helped him cover up the murder, he leaves Spain to travel with Ander. So, will the police find Armando’s body? If so, will Guzmán be convicted of murder? For now, these burning questions remain unanswered.

At the moment, Netflix has not released an official release date for Elite Season 5. According to Toms Guide, production for the fifth season was supposed to begin in February 2021. But, it’s unclear if film production has started yet. So, the premiere date for Elite Season 5 remains unknown.
